Answer:	Not that I’ve found. These are tricky. Try Shutting the lid until you meet resistance. Then just let it be. It had a delayed soft close. But if you try and force it, it won’t close.
Question:	I purchased and installed it. however, now that it is getting colder where i live in maine, the mechanism is freezing. what can be done
Answer:	You probably have them. It is a single sheet of glossy paper with a couple of pictures on it. I mistook it as an add for more of their products. However, they instructions are very vague and somewhat misleading. The box side thickness needs to be 3/4 inches (20 mm) with hinge pin on the outside edge. I used a piano hinge. The top edge of the "T" is 3/8 inches (10 mm) down from top inside edge of box side. After a lot of trial and error, I found the lid needs to be at 85 degrees, not 90. The lid will stay open and requires very little effort to start the closing process. At 90 degrees, it takes a lot of effort to start the closing process.
Question:	will this work on a wood screen door that has spring hinges? And I need it close fully, but softly. No slamming
