We"re very happy with the purchase.

Answer: Yes. The system does not need any setup to have it stream online or local live view. 1. Local Live View on Monitor: Just power on the NVR and plug the cameras to the ports, they will stream video.2. Streaming online: The system comes with UID, which goes through its highest secured server to transit data directly from the NVR to your PC Reolink Client or REOLINK app. anytime and anywhere. Question: Can wifi camera connect to NVR

Question: Can i use a 5-port gigabit poe switch in the home network to connect 4 cameras (instead of using the poe ports of nvr for cameras
Answer: Short answer, Yes. Long answer. Absolutely positively yes. You can even use a POE Injector. It does however beg the question as to why you would have thought that it won't work. The systems NVR regardless of how many POE ports it has on it can support up to 32 cameras. IE: if you have 20 cameras and a 4 port NVR, you will need 16 more POE injectors or 16 more ports on an POE switch or any combination that equals 16.

Question: Ethernet cables from dvr to cameras
Answer: We have ours connected to the dvr and a tv screen in the house and also downloaded the app and can view it on our phones. The dvr is the most accurate for us due to our slow internet on the phones. Both work well for us though.

Answer: All channels record simultaneously. I use 16 channel.
Question: Does this camera record audio? Or video only
Answer: It’s should work I had an existing night owl system and bought this knew night ow dvr and it worked fine for me

Answer: I assume not. This uses Cat5 connection. Buy the bundle with the newest cameras for a good result, and a good value.
