Answer:	I would think so, but I'm not sure. Unless you can put them on different channels, you wouldn't know which kid was making the noise. I wouldn't buy these again anyway. The parent unit frequently loses the signal from the baby unit and makes an annoying beeping sound. It's frustrating when that's what wakes you up in the middle of the night.

Answer:	Great IDEA for a feature, but as far as I'm aware, the "baby unit" is always in the communication loop. However, as I think about this, it might be possible to lower the volume on the baby unit to the point it can't be heard in the nursery so the parents COULD talk on the other 2 units. It's late tonight, but I'll check this theory out for you sometime tomorrow & re-edit this answer so we'll know for sure. *stay tuned* -----------Update 7/23/13: Checked for you this morning & unfortunately, the "baby" unit's LOWEST volume level is still audible. So, no, you can't communicate between the two "parent" units without the "baby" unit broadcasting the sound. Even though you can talk to one another, "baby" can always hear. Hope that helped you!
