Answer:	A recommendation to fix this issue is to get a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) battery backup unit sized for a laptop, about 350VA should do. Question:	does this work with amazon echo
Answer:	You can use Honeywell Total Connect 2.0 and Alexa. It wouldn't work through this keypad but you can control the Honeywell Touch Connect 2.0 system with Alexa. Touch Connect allows you to control your alarm system, thermostats - but it does require a monthly subscription.

Answer:	Honeywell now provides an at least partial listing of compatible IP cameras for use with the Tuxedo Touch on their website. Question:	What features will you have or not have if not monitored or not subscribed to Total Connect Service
Answer:	Not entirely certain. The automation features are definitely independent of alarm monitoring and it will function as an alarm keypad. To use the remote services, I had to get the panel MAC address tied to alarm net. I saw on one of the DIY alarm sites that someone has been able to access this panel remotely through their router without an alarm net subscription. This panel does have a static IP address on my network

Answer:	It is compatible with an Ademco/Honeywell Vista home security system with a wireless transceiver. The transceiver can be mounted separately or it can be built into a keypad. If the keypad is a 6160 RF, these contacts are definitely compatible with the system.

Answer:	The 5800RP wireless repeater can be powered from either an AC or DC external power source connected to the two internal terminal screws. The DC power source rating is 12VDC, 100 mA. The AC power source rating is 9VAC, 15VA. The transformer and the cabling required to connect it to the repeater are NOT included with the 5800RP. Only the backup battery is included. Answer:	With the end of line resistor you can have both. The resistor is hooked up in line (series) with normally closed devices. The resistor is hooked up across (parallel) with normally open devices.
