| Answer: | The panel provides for 8 hard-wired zones (up to 15 hard-wired zones when zone-doubling is employed). In terms of keypads, the Installation and Setup Guide indicates that "Local programming must be done with a 6139/6160 keypad, but need not remain in the system." Other keypads work (except for programming), but I do not know specifically whether your existing keypads will work after programming is completed. All three of my keypads were model 6139 when I upgraded to the Vista 21ip from my old Vista 40 panel. |
