There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct.

Answer:	Not exactly- my son cut the bottom off a water bottle to cover it. Then cut a window so the sensor would not be covered. It works 😊

Answer:	The USB port is an option to hook the motion sensor to USB port instead of using batteries. I have used it both ways and it worked. The only problem I had with the motion sensor is that it stopped working when the temperature got down to low thirties.
Question:	How you adjust the volume
Answer:	When the sensor detects motion 4 small lights, light up blue, as the batteries get used up I see on mine that one of the small blue light is red. Maybe letting me know that I may have to put new batteries in soon.

Answer:	This can be adjusted. Clothing will typically not set it off in a deposit chute because the large surface area spreads the pressure. To reduce activation from heavily filled plastic bag, cushion the mat with a layer of soft material. Conversely, to increase sensitivity, place a small hard object with corner (such as a 2x4 lumber) under the mat. Note that the alarm only stays on for 30 seconds even if the mat is kept pressurized. The alarm is activated for 30 seconds upon state change only -- ie: when pressure is applied or removed. If the state does not change, the alarm stops after 30 seconds.
