Wi-Fi Setting with smartphone

Turn on the Base Station (after beep sound), OR (Long press the SET button for 5 seconds, release the SET button when you hear 2 beeping sounds), now the base station has entered the Wi-Fi connection mode, the Red light is slowly blinking (2s/time).

Please change the EZ mode in the upper right corner to AP mode.

Make sure the host is plugged in and the red light is slowly blinking.

Pairing Contact Sensor & Motion Sensor

Pairing Remote Control

Troubleshooting (Sensors or Remotes NOT working properly)

Initialize the Base Station by Long press SET button for 10 seconds, release the SET button when you hear after hearing 5 beeping sounds in a row. This procedure will clear all the sensors, remotes, and Wi-Fi settings of the base station.

Answer:	Yes. There are various delays you can set via the "programming codes" listed in the manual. I know you can set an "alarming" delay (basically an entry delay). As for the other respondent that returned it because you can disarm without a code, that's the default behavior but can be changed using another "programming code" in the manual. Admittedly, the manual is not easy at all to understand but after a bit of tinkering, it looks to work like most other alarms except only requires $5/month text only service vs. $15-30 service to get notified about alarms. It was the only option that used 12v, GSM, and very little power and therefore I plan to utilize on my RV off of 12v battery power to protect it while stored.

How to transform 4 modes?

Answer:	It comes with 2 door bells already with tge one ynit. You can put a different ring tone on each bell. If you need 3 tgen just buy one extra and plug that one in to your farthest doorbell and set a different ring tone to that one. Then you will still have one extra.
Question:	I would like to install this inside my mailbox at 350 ft. from the receiver so I will know when my mail has arrived. Will this work
Answer:	If your mailbox is metal, this probably won't work because while it may detect the box being opened, it won’t be able to transmit that fact to your remote receiver due to the metal box (acting a a Faraday cage) blocking the signal.
Question:	How do I change the ringtone? I push the button but it always rings the same tone
Answer:	I had this problem too but once you change to the tone you want. Then you have to go through the pairing process again and it keeps the ringtone you changed to.

Answer:	The abode system uses the customers internet router for its primary communications link to access the abode server and to communicate to the abode Mobile and web apps. The abode gateway must always be connected to your router using an Ethernet cable. The gateways built in cellular back up radio service (if enable) will switch on if your homes internet service is temporarily lost, and reconnect the gateway to the internet using its own cellular radio, restoring all of the functionality to your abode mobile and web app. The gateway cell uses ether 3G AT&T or T- Mobile, (Whichever one has the best signal). Once the homes internet service is restored, then the gateway switches off its cellular service.
