Answer:	Yes. There are various delays you can set via the "programming codes" listed in the manual. I know you can set an "alarming" delay (basically an entry delay). As for the other respondent that returned it because you can disarm without a code, that's the default behavior but can be changed using another "programming code" in the manual. Admittedly, the manual is not easy at all to understand but after a bit of tinkering, it looks to work like most other alarms except only requires $5/month text only service vs. $15-30 service to get notified about alarms. It was the only option that used 12v, GSM, and very little power and therefore I plan to utilize on my RV off of 12v battery power to protect it while stored.

However, if you can adhere both items of this product side by side - one being stationary, the other being the movable piece, then it will work just fine. In other words, when the sliding door is in the closed position, you must be able to install this product in such a way that when the door is opened, the two pieces "break contact" with one another thereby sounding the very loud and high-pitched alarm. Answer:	There is just a switch. The item that looks like a big button on the front is not a button. I believe it is just the speaker. The switch is a standard sliding switch. If children could reach it, they could turn it off, depending on their age and the location of the alarm. On doors, these are usually mounted at the top of the door, well out of reach of children in normal circumstances. The alarms are also pretty small (about 2.5 inches long), so they don't attract much attention.

Answer:	Yes, because when the internet is down or got the power outage, all the Alexa will not work. But the water leak can trigger the siren without internet. If you installed the batteries in the siren, even there is power outage, the water leak can trigger the siren. Thanks!

Answer:	Yes. I purchased 4 of these for use on all exterior doors. Each device/machine can be connected to 8 remotes (per instructions on box). I have 2 remotes (one upstairs and one downstairs) that control all 4 Alarms.
Question:	How far away can the remote be to activate or deactivate the alarm? I wonder if it will reach through floor frm downstair to room directly upstairs
Answer:	Shouldn't be a problem, I live in a Red-Brick house w/ SOLID METAL doors, and I can set it (on), Dis-arm (turn off), and sound-off (panic mode) from outside the house, almost a half of a block away. So you really should not have a problem at all. Hope that information helps ! :)

Answer:	It is unbearably LOUD!!!!!! It hurts my ears when the alarm goes off and the doorbell is way too loud for an apartment. Probably perfect for a house but stupid loud for an apartment 😄

Answer:	It has a decent range. I would guess you could disarm it from 50'+. I do not think a standard wooden or metal door would be an obstruction.
