Answer:	This Arlo light is operated separated with Pro Camera, even it need to connect to Arlo APP, their function and motion detect is totally operated indecently each other, because each device got its own sensor to detect movement, so it can not be trigger when one of devices detected motion. Indeed, each device will turn on at the same time if you put these 2 devices close together to shot into same direction. That's why Netgear Arlo also has a Camera with Light build-in device together to active camera and light, of course if this is the purpose, that's will be the direction you want to go for. For just sensor lighting purpose to add in the Arlo App, this is enough for active and to replace the HomeDepot hardware expensive, bulky and wired instruction needed for AC power Light Sensor Set. Also you can move to anywhere you want to make it work!

Answer:	I just talked to Netgear sales person at the Netgear retail store in San Jose. The lights do not work with Google Home at this time. No words on when they will.

Answer:	Depends on how much you use it. My light only goes on when my dogs go outside or when something triggers it in the backyard. I just charged the batteries. It’s been 6 weeks.

Answer:	I know the two pack comes with the additional “hub” needed for these lights. I’m not sure if it comes with the single “add on” light. So, to answer your question (at least if you’re getting the two light kit), yes everything is included and you don’t need to purchase any additional hardware. The lights have a separate plug in (wireless) hub that will connect to your main Arlo hub that you already have. This new plug in adapter must be within 90 feet of your lights. You can activate a range test option for the lights in your Arlo app. This will cause the lights to flash green when in range, and red when out of range. =)

Answer:	You can control multiple but these units won't record video without a subscription. You get a 2 month trial then can't record without paying more. Total opposite from other Arlo cameras we have.

Answer:	The Pro 3 Floodlight does not come with a SmartHub. While a SmartHub provides some additional features, the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight can be used directly with your existing Wi-Fi; a SmartHub or Base Station is not required.
Question:	how long do the videos stay on the app for viewing if you don't buy The Arlo smart
Answer:	I bought this floodlight camera early on from Arlo direct. What they didn’t clearly share then and still don’t is that without a subscription you won’t be able to see your videos in the app after the first three months of subscription free trial use. This is different from earlier Arlo cameras where videos could be viewed daily on the app and remained there for 7 days before disappearing. But if you used a hub with USB backup they were always available later. Don’t get me wrong, the camera and especially the floodlight work well. But the “hook” is you’ll eventually need a monthly subscription if you want to see videos on your smart phone or tablet. And that’s the key usability feature of security cameras like this. Arlo talks essentially hides this, doesn’t tell you that directly up front that you’ll have to subscribe to be able to jse the app.

Answer:	Have been running a couple of lights... I have my bridge on the second floor ( higher is better ). The bridge unit connects the light basically to the base unit so the lights can trigger the camera to record or the bcameras can turn on the lights. Range for me is not an issue, my lights are about 65 ft from the bridge and function fine.

View in app for at least 5 days or more. I believe there is a cap to how much time recording you have access to before oldest starts getting deleted. So, yes with video access with monthly subscription. Arlo says yes and tells about it in other questions for this item. The paid monthly subscription gives you features like local and cloud storage that gives you control of recordings, ect.

Plug bad station back in & let it sync up (3-4 mins), plug bridge into outlet (near the base station at first & then you can move it out more once all your gizmos are set up), launch app, click add, hood bridge button & follow app prompts. Sometimes it requires 2 or 3 tries. NOTE: if your network is “hidden” the bridge will not work. Uncheck hidden network option. At least set up your “guess network” to be unhidden. Word!
