Question: why doesn't the digital display work anymore
Answer: I just received a used unit, and out of the box the display did not work, even after putting in batteries and plugging it in. I unplugged the unit and removed the batteries and back up (button) battery. After letting the unit sit for a minute or so, I replaced the batteries, plugged it in and it worked. Let me add that after getting it to work on an old power plug (100 mA), I read that it needed the new power plug (150mA) to operate. I unplugged the clock and it went crazy with noise and beeping. I repeated the battery removal process, let it stand and reset, put it together with the new power plug and it works fine. I never had this problem with my old clock that lasted a many years before being damaged in my luggage.

Answer: It's about 5.5' x 3', and about an inch and a half deep.
Question: Does this sound machine include the AC adapter, and does it work. I need to plug it in an outlet and not use the batteries for sound
Answer: Yes it comes with an adapter and we use it.It does work. According to the manual no energy is drained from the batteries when using the adapter.

Answer: We never have but ours has a place for a headphone jack on the top.
