Answer:	The display light is an LED, the display unlit is LCD. The time the display light is on is limited unless using the AC adapter.

Answer:	This model does not have single sideband functionality. We do have a new model that isn't yet available on Amazon due to limited supply that does have upper and lower sideband and a few more differences. It's called the CC Skywave SSB.

Answer:	The charger does not say cc crane...it is Chinese although cc crane does sell one on its website for 14.95. So I would say cc crane gets these from a third party company. Also while the radio worked well right out of the box I returned it because it is too fragile. Think half the weight of an iPhone without the case. If you drop it one time it doesn't take much to crack it. I returned it and got a more substantial sw radio for 169.00 dollars. I also puchased the pocket plain am fm radio and it more heavy duty and rubberized versus the small fragile lightweight sw pocket one your thinking of buying.

Answer:	Don't recall receiving an AC power supply. I removed the batteries and was able to recover audio by plugging a USB cable into the "USB in 5v" jack. Seems like an acceptable AC power source to me.

Answer:	HD Radio is noted as being High Density, not High Definition. High Density allows digital sub channels within the same bandwidth. This radio does not demodulate or decode HD Radio format stations.

Also, a great radio for camping. Reception would be the only question.

How to use the Kastar Universal charger?

First, please take a look at your battery; there are one mark "+" positive contact and one mark "-" negative contact.



Then, take a look on the Kastar charger; you can get two little movable prongs. As the positive and negative are automatically recognized by this charger,

Answer:	The AC power unit for this radio should be from C. Crane. If you use a cell phone charger, it is only good to charge the battery (if you have rechargeables installed). Cell phone chargers put out too much "hash" RF Noise, so they cause a noisy signal if used while listening to the radio. Even the CCrane Adapter puts out some noise, so the best weak station reception is always when using just battery alone.

Answer:	It will spill directly below in the bed onto the pad. Although, the panel will also collect a small amount of urine directly beneath where it mounts to the frame. One has to wipe this area each time one changes the pad. In my experience it has never spilled out onto the floor, unless the puppy's aim is off, hence the plastic pole. Unfortunately my puppy took to wanting to pull up the pee pole to play with it. LOL

Answer:	For the medium size, I use 23"x 24" pads so that the edges of the pads will cover the sides of the bottom tray. If you use a smaller size, they will not lap over the sides on the bottom tray. Once the frame and grid is on, you will only see a little of the blue plastic pad sticking out. I fold it under the whole tray.

Answer:	Fan only uses 18650 lithium battery. Can't interchange with other batteries. However 18650 batteries last a very long time and a quite powerful. Those are the batteries used in vape devices.
