Question:	I just got this and i can not get this to connect to my jbl extreme.. i believe it is because the new connect button.. anybody else have this issue
Answer:	Here's the most likely solution (my comments copied from another website about the JBL Connect app). I finally figured out how to make the JBL Connect app work, so that it now plays in stereo mode through my two Flip 3 speakers (left channel comes out of one speaker and right channel comes out of the other speaker) with virtually no dropouts. The key is to connect ONLY ONE speaker when you make the initial Bluetooth pairing under your device's Settings (Apple iPad: Settings/Bluetooth in my case) otherwise Bluetooth continually tries to connect with the other speaker, causing interference and repeated dropouts. It may say that one of the speakers is "not connected" but just ignore that. The important thing is to NOT have both speakers connected under your device's Bluetooth settings. Only one speaker should appear as connected here, so do whatever it takes to disconnect second speaker from Bluetooth, or make it "disappear": turn the speaker's power off and then back on, turn the iPad's Bluetooth switch off and then on again, click on "Forget this device", etc. (and DO NOT RENAME either speaker—it causes problems with the Connect function.) Then, with only one speaker paired via Bluetooth (but both speakers turned on) press the Connect button on each speaker (the button with the bowtie-shaped icon) and wait for both speakers to connect to each other. The bluetooth-connected speaker takes over and sends out the signal to the other speaker via the Connect function. Once you have done this setup procedure you don't have to repeat it. You will only have to turn on your device's bluetooth, turn on both speakers and press both "Connect" buttons (in most cases you won't have to press the speaker's bluetooth button— one speaker should pair automatically to your iPad or other device via bluetooth, once you have done the initial pairing). If you experience any problems, simply turn the power off both speakers, and then back on again and press the Connect button on each speaker again. Doing it a second time always works if the first attempt is unsuccessful, (or if, sometime later after listening for a while, you hear any dropouts) but usually the first attempt works with no problem.

Answer:	We use ours for the pool. We leave it on the edge and it has been knocked in a few times and it’s still works great. But we don’t just let it float

Answer:	The JBL Flip 3 and Flip 4 had a 3.5mm jack, the Flip 5 does not. It is 16w total, each speaker can handle about 8 watts. It weighs about 1 pound. The Flip 3 was the best of the Flip series, Loud with lots of Bass, Long Battery life, microphone and 3.5mm inpui jack. Flip 4 were not as loud and did not threw off as much bass as the Flip 3 and had less battery life. The Flip 5 has less power/volume, less bass and the worst battery life and no 3.5mm input jack and no microphone, so you cant answer calls with the Flip 5. JBL has gone down the tubes! If you are looking for good, bass booming sound, get a Harmon Kardon Onyx-1, those were the best! But avoid the Onyx-2 to Onyx-5 they are awful.

Answer:	It’s not exactly “ live Rock and Roll bands at a bar so loud that you can’t even hear what the person next to you is saying “ - type loud . It’s just a nice - clear - full sound , boom box . I put on 3 or 4 level in the house, and it sounds perfect . When outback of my house , I boost to 5 or 6 - and I can hear it out front of my house . After 9 pm - if it’s still on out back - I gotta bring it down to 2 or 3 . I mean - it definitely does what I was looking for . I took to my daughters place - had in her downstairs bar area - and I could hear it 2 floors up . I can only describe my exeperience with it . Definitely Five Star ⭐️ boom box ( IMO ). And if the second amp has a sub. Out. Then connect a second powered subwoofer. to the second amp. Make sure both amps are at a low volume. Start input sound source adjust the bass treble and balance of both amps to your liking. Turn up the volume of the second amp. ( or slave amp ) while the audio is on turn up the volume of the P3301bat. Now set the slave amps volume to your liking. Then increase the volume of the P3301bat. As you turn that volume up the slave amps volume will increase until you have reached the volume you set it at. If not enough slowly increase the second amps volume, then the P3301bat volume and the slave amp until desired volume is achieved. Now having done all that the primary amp ( P3301bat ) will act as your master volume. ( increase that volume and the slave amps volume will increase + vica, versa) To turn the system on 1- turn on audio source, 2- turn on slave amp. 3 - turn on the P3301bat.. To power off all ways shut down the P3301bat 1st. Or the above sequence in reverse. Try to use the most of highest volume from the slave amp. Doing this will stop power surge to the P3301bat that can blow the amp with a loud thumping pop. I hope this helps. This is the set up I use to practice my drums. If you are going to run the amps at high volumes for extended periods. About every hour or so turn down the volume and let the amps cool for a few minutes. I also use an external fan blowing behind and across the rear and top of the amps as the built in cooling fans are not enough for very high volumes for periods of 2 hours of more.
