Answer:	Radio has jack for headphones, and AUX input jack. It comes with a power cord to allow you to operate on AC POWER plugging into wall outlet. Cant have any D CELL BATTERIES in radio when plugged into outlet. AC power cord is also how you charge built in rechargeable battery in radio. Again, never have D cell batteries in radio when using AC power cord, it could rupture the batteries. Never charge internal battery(the hidden one) more than 8 hours, with radio off. Internal battery plays a long, long time on a single charge; listening to radio or playing a devise through AUX jack.

Answer:	Hello and great question! The answer is that you can control the electrical power into the coffeemaker with the plug but the programming is done manually. You could plug the unit into the smart plug and then program the brew time for later that day or the next morning, but ultimately you'd have to re-set the brew program again from the onboard controls. It's not Alexa or Google enabled.
