As to hd picture or sd picture you will receive depends on what signals being broadcasting in your area, you may check with local broadcast company. As per experience , most of users received high definition channels. |

| Answer: | Pls do as my suggestions below: Step1: Test it ok or NOT, test it with the other TV in your bedroom, if it is working fine, then go to Step 2, if it can't pick up any channel, then it is proved broken, pls contact with Amazon for an exchange. Step2: Test if the newer TV in your family room has a built-in ATSC tuner or NOT(usually the TV manufactured after 2007 should have a built-in ATSC tuner),just install the other antenna which worked great in your bedroom TV on this newer TV,if it won't work,it is easily to judge that your newer TV has no ATSC tuner, then you have to get a HDTV receiver(digital converter box). If the instruction book says the newer TV has a built-in ATSC tuner,but both of antennas pick up nothing, go to Step3: Step3: Pls check if the ANT/IN port on the back of TV was damaged or if something iron/metal in the family room blocking the signals.Try to put it as high on window and see what will happen. If there is still any query about the 2nd antenna, pls feel free to contact with seller,they must be professional to solve all problems. |
