Answer:	I had the same problem. I just played with the menus until I guessed at the right setting to reset it to English. Maybe Google English to Japanese and that will help you recognize the Japanese. Or most likely it was set to Chinese.

I did find however this model on Amazon, Cardo SRAK0035 Audio and Microphone Kit (for Freecom Models) , that should work with Freecom models. Looks like Bold electrical contacts are toward the front of the mounting plate, and Freecom electrical contacts are toward the rear of the mounting plate. Very different models.

Answer:	We removed most of the preloaded songs and purchased songs from iTunes. After we had our songs, we dragged them over to the simple music box folder in the order we wanted them to play.If we wanted to change the order we dragged song onto desktop and then put in back where we wanted it. So best if you have the order you want first.No shuffle available, just press the bottom to move to next song.

Answer:	The first thing you must do is get a converter program. There are several free ones you can download off line. The music that is loaded on the player must be MP3!Did the same thing you did loaded all music and wouldn't play. Found out that explorer downloads wave files. Won't work. The converter program will allow you to save the music to your computer as MP3 file then you can transfer to the simple music player. Then it will work. Spent a couple hours doing it but was worth it. After you've transferred the music you can delete the files from your computer. But just remember each time you want to put music on the player you have to convert to MP3 first.

Mine will power up once I charge it but within minutes of it being unplugged, it will go beep indicating low battery then go dead. . The best I can say is to get a refund and spread the word.
