Answer:	I’m going to say yeah ... even though the bottom doesn’t have tape in it it still needs to be placed in there

Answer:	It will require an installation kit. I highly recommend also getting the wire harness adapter. With the wire harness it is not necessary to cut the factory connector out of your vehicle. Answer:	Only for cars that have a cassette player were the side flap stays open. If you are trying to use it for a portible cassette palyer it will not work.

Answer:	I have another brand that does that. I leave it in and switch to FM to get it to stop. When I go back to tape it works properly without the clicking and ejecting.

Answer:	Your DVDs were created for another region, e.g. Region 1, USA, Canada, Bermuda, Region 2 Most of Europe, Region 3, SE Asia etc. If you bought your DVD from Amazon USA, It is likely hardcoded for Region 1. You cannot change this. Either buy DVDs in the same region as the Pioneer or use a computer with a multi-region DVD-ROM and rip your DVDs to make .mp4 files that could be watched on the Pioneer unit. I use Handbrake, a free program on Mac and Windows to do this.
