Answer:	To work on vehicle without cord...you have to find a unused station such as 88.7 where there isn't any sound or static then set the transmitter to same station 88.7 then turn on Bluetooth on device when it finds it then you can play what you like through the vehicle speakers. You can also make a phone call with that station on and person can hear you through the speakers of vehicle but only while that station is on in vehicle. I have tried it works great. There may be static on certain channels, so looking around for one not in use and with less static takes a little time to find.

So I put this in vehicle 1 and drove off with vehicle 2 down the road. it picked up the transmission about 2 blocks away. Answer:	There are several factors which will control how much range you can get. For instance, how high is the antenna? Is it above surrounding trees and buildings? How long is the transmission line to the antenna, and what type is it? (RG-8, RG-51, etc), effects how much loss there will be in the line? What is the frequency - is it in the FM Broadcast band? What kind of antenna us used with the receiver? There are several factors which will limit your range, but under good conditions, I will GUESS around 2–5 miles.
