Answer:	I've found that some TV's (such as Samsung) allow you to adjust for audio delays in the Expert Audio settings.

Answer:	These are not noise cancelling headphones, but you should find that when you are wearing them, it is a lot easier to concentrate on the tv sound.

Answer:	Yes. Further clarification is that you don't have to put the TV on "mute" which means you don't have to see the mute icon. You simply turn down the TV speakers volume to whatever level you want for ambient sound (or zero). That's because the audio signal input to the TV ears is a discrete audio signal or source. Keep in mind, also, that the signal from the transmitter to your TV ears is "line of sight" so if, for example, you hold up a book to read you're very likely to hear static interference.

Answer:	Thanks again for this good question. YES you can adjust separate controls. This system can also do even better then that. The Free Axiim Link app included also allows you to adjust the signal frequency amplitudes so your desired frequencies can be adjusted by +/-10dB by tapping the “+” or “-” on the APP screen. This EQ makes it easy to adjust not only the speaker volume in general, but also boost frequencies that are generally heard in human voice making dialog easier to hear. The voiced speech of a typical adult male will have a fundamental frequency from 85 to 180 Hz, and that of a typical adult female from 165 to 255 Hz, according to Wikipedia. So you can boost the center channel output where most dialog is produced, then additionally boost the 85Hz to 255Hz range using the EQ to ensure that dialog is crisp and clear. Answer:	The threaded hole in the bottom of the Platin Monaco speakers is an M6-1.0 screw, and the appropriate length for most stands would be 12mm. Some stands come with the 12mm long, M6-1.0 screw that fits the Platin Monaco threaded opening perfectly. Question:	Can the battery be changed out by a commerically available one
Answer:	Yes, the owner can put in a new rechargeable battery by removing small screws on the headset and separating it into two parts. I found replacement batteries on line, and they may be available at specialty stores such as Radio Shack. But not at general-merchandise stores.

Answer:	Check to be sure you're plugged into 'Audio Out" on your tv. Some older tvs don't have an audio out. If yours does not maybe its time to upgrade. I did and I definitely don't regret it. My Dad had this set of ears. He was almost completely deaf and and he wore them all the time. Well..when watching tv, anyway.
Question:	Did it help with understanding the dialog
Answer:	I have single sided deafness in one ear and substantial loss of hearing in the other. I use my TV Ears frequently and have found that the clarity that you hear through the ear set is exceptional. I found that I could hear and understand the dialogue in all circumstances, especially when performers were speaking in a low voice or when there was a lot of background noise in the viewing environment.
Question:	I am told the analog ears are not recommended for flat screen tv's. Do I need a digital set?? Richard
Answer:	Maybe. It's not that they don't work with flat screen TVs; that's misleading. The issue is what kind of audio outputs the TV has. We just got a new TV that only had digital output (there's exactly one audio output port, and it's a TOSLINK). The only way to know is to look at the TV specs. You can also get an adapter from that digital port to an analog port; they're about $20.

Question:	I have a newer samsung smarttv in our bdrm, what else if anything do i need to listen to tv w/o disturbing my sleeping wife
Answer:	As stated in my review, the first pair of batteries that came with the unit, lasted 4 1/2 years. The little button on the bottom is a 3 channel position slide switch. Depends on the location you place the unit (transceiver) determines the best channel. You will need to try each of the channels for the best reception. Does this answer help you?
Question:	Do you have to turn the headphone on manually like the old models(RS 170, RS 180)? Or does it turn itself on automatically when you pick it up from the charger
Answer:	In this order: Connect the headphone base to wall power, but not to the TV. Hang the headset on the base and make sure it's charging (red light will be on). Allow headset to fully charge (a few hours). While the headphone jack is still not connected to the TV: Turn on the TV and turn it up loudly enough that you can hear it. Connect the wire from the headphone base to the TV. Make sure your 3.5 mm connector is plugged all the way into the socket (sometimes people don't push them in far enough). The TV speakers should be muted now. Check to make sure you have a green light on the headphone base, meaning that it is getting an audio signal. Turn on the headphones. You may just hear static, or you may hear distorted TV sound. Turn the fine tuning adjustment on the head phones until you have good audio from the headphones.
Question:	My samsung tv is connected to my denon receiver for my room sound. will the rs 175 connect without any problems
Answer:	Our Toshiba TV has on-screen settings menus that allow cutting off the speakers while leaving the audio jacks active. But there are a few menu steps, which gets to be a nuisance when executed 5 - 10 times in an hour. So instead I plug the RS120 base transmitter into the Directv satellite receiver., which allows use of the headset with the TV speakers muted -- or even with the TV turned off. (One tiny issue with that arrangement: the receiver audio and the TV audio are not perfectly synchronized, so if you elect to use the headset while the TV speakers are on, you get an echo effect.)
Question:	Using the optical audion connection i can hear regular tv but not my samsung hub apps like netflix? any suggestions
Answer:	Correct. And you'll hear subtle sounds that you don't hear when listening to TV--even if you have a sound bar--when not using headset. I use the RS120 even when I don't need to, i.e., even when no one else is around.

I did have to raise the volume for the surround speakers (do this in the soundbar settings) to the max which is 6. We are amazed at the quality of the sound. Well pleased with the purchase.
Question:	How long are the cables or can I make my own
Answer:	The speaker wires are more like 10 feet long. Both of them. If you want to run one speaker on the other side of a room, you're gonna have to splice the speaker wire to make it longer.

Answer:	You’d be better off connecting the system via the hdmi or optic to tv in order for it to be most easily connected. Blue tooth works great for other devices, but to have the system integrate with TV and use your TV remote for volume you’d want to connect as I mentioned above.

Multiple Audio Out Ports Supports

Compatible with most TVs on the market, the SIMOLIO SM-621D supports Optical, RCA and 3.5 mm / AUX audio outputs. For Optical connection, make sure the audio format of your TV/TV related AV device must be set to “PCM”.

For RCA connection, make sure the RCA ports are labeled as ”AUDIO OUT/OUTPUT/AV OUT”.

For 3.5mm/AUX connection, it’s better to try it with a wired headphone to see whether it will disable your TV internal speakers. For TVs with only Optical audio out and occupied by a sound bar, you will need to purchase an optical splitter for installation.

For TVs with only Coaxial output, you will need to purchase a Digital to Analog Audio Converter for installation.

For TVs with only HDMI (ARC) audio out, you will need to purchase an HDMI to RCA converter for installation.

For AV receivers with a 6.35mm phone jack at the front, you will need to purchase a 6.35mm to 3.5mm audio adapter for installation.

TV Sound Out and Audio Format Setting

For TVs that support only single sound out, we don’t recommend to use this SIMOLIO unit to watch tv together with your family. Unless you have a sound bar + splitter.

For some TVs, you can play audio through TV internal speakers and an external audio device simultaneously by setting the “Sound Out” to “Internal TV Speaker + Audio Out(Optical)”. For digital optical connection, make sure to set your TV/TV related AV device’s audio format to PCM. Dolby / DTS is not supported. The menus for sound out and audio format setting are not the same from different TV brands. please refer to your TV manual for details.

TV & TV Related AV Devices' Volume Setting

Sufficient sound output is needed to ensure Simolio working properly.

VOL.1 > 40%, VOL.2 > 30%, just for your reference. The bigger the VOL.1 and VOL.2, the better the S/N (Signal-to-Noise) of your Simolio unit.

Usually we suggest to fix the VOL.1 to a sufficient level, and adjust VOL.2 to control TV's volume.

If the audio output signal is too weak, it will cause the following problems:

1. no sound from the speaker
2. the sound of the speaker cuts in and out
3. the speaker automatically shuts off every few minutes

Answer:	The q300 are the nicest midrange speaker Ive heard. Clear as a bell. Detailed. Cymbals crash but they also sizzle. Every note is right there. Dont expect much bass. They need to be paired with a powered Sub in my opinion but it depends on the room size to.
Question:	How wide is the sound bar? What is the dimension
Answer:	I tried two amps so far with my q300: an old Yamaha AVR receiver, and the Outlaw Audio RR2150 I got to replace the Yamaha. The speakers did sound very nice with the Yamaha, and we re an obvious improvement over the old Infinity IL10 pair I had before. Bi-wiring helped too. Once I connected the Outlaw receiver, the sound improved considerably. Again, the bi-wiring helps, in my opinion. Both highs and bass are nice and clean, the mids are very responsive, and stage is very open. I chose the Outlaw RR initially because it is matching the Q300's power requirements (RR is rated at 100W per channel at 8ohms, but actually output more), and can moderate the brightness of Q300 nicely without muddling the sound. The combination is very powerful: I never turn the RR's sound level knob past 10 o'clock position, usually it is at 9 o'clock position with a nice and full sound. RR also has some minimal EQ capabilities, as well as able to provide bass boost (+ 6 Db) at three Hz thresholds. Also, RR has a sub woofer output, that I may planning to utilize to extend the bass: it is very good on the Q300 as is, but from what I read online passing the very low frequencies to an external sub cleans up mids a bit. I have not tried it yet, but the RR is supposed to have a very nice sub woofer management controls. RR also has USB input option, which is fairly good on its own, but an external DAC (I use Arcam rDAC) is a great improvement, and it also allows for optical input from my CD player that RR is lacking. So far I am very happy with the Q300/RR 2150 combination.

Answer:	I run these on 16 solid state watts and am very happy. This is full discussion on its own if you look this up on the internet you will want to look at the numbers for sensitivity. This is the DB level based on one watt at one meter distance (Measurement Standards are a whole different topic). This will lead you down different path in understanding that loud is not based on watts alone. If you are into loud this may not be the speaker for your set up as that even with a Chronos Magnum tube amp these were still a tad tame (Very Clear, Very Nice, High Quality, but your average Judas Priest fan would not approve). I love mine even bought a second set - good luck

Answer:	Depends on how the transmitter is connected. If the port connected to mutes the TV speakers, you will not be able to hear without the headphones. Some headphone jacks will mute the speakers.

Q: My TV speakers go silent (become muted) when I use the Avantree 2.4G wireless TV headphones HT280. Can I make them work simultaneously while using the transmitter?

A: This is a TV feature and its availability depends on your TV make and model.

For many models of TV, the built-in speakers might not work if you choose to use an external speaker. They will either automatically mute when you plug something into an audio output port (AUX, RCA, Optical, etc.) or they become disabled once you choose "External Speakers" as your TV's audio output. Some newer TVs however, allow you to play audio from both the TV's internal speakers and an external audio device simultaneously. For example the newer LG TVs with WebOS versions 3.0 and 3.5 have this feature but Samsung TVs still do not. In the LG TV WebOS 3.0 / 3.5 example, you can enable this feature by changing the TV AUDIO OUT setting from "Internal TV Speaker" to “Internal TV Speaker + Optical”. Now all audio will simultaneously come from both your TV's speakers and the device connected to the digital optical audio output port.

If your TV does not support this feature, then you can consider the Avantree HT5009 / HT5006 and an external speaker. The Avantree Oasis Plus transmitter has a convenient bypass feature which allows you to share the TV audio simultaneously with an EXTERNAL SPEAKER and a pair of Bluetooth headphones.
