Answer:	And no there is no 12v plug or anything. Just has a positive and negative for wiring to your power supply of your choosing. And yes to needing to be wired up which is easier than you think.

Answer:	The CB has two wires built in so all you would need is a cigarette lighter socket adapter and wire it up. The wires are about 4' long so you should have no problems where you mount it. The wiring is very easy - that's the set up I have so I can unplug and remove the CB when I'm just driving around locally.

Answer:	It really depends on the terrain and the amount of radio interference in your area. With a properly tuned antenna in relatively flat terrain you should be able to get at least six miles probably more. I'm assuming your asking about mobile and not base use.

Answer:	It has arms to wrap around something to hold it in place. I have used it on my stroller and the headrest of the seat in my car and both times you dont hear any vibration. The only thing you hear is the fan blowing but its very subtle even on the fastest setting.
Question:	Would this be a strong enough cb for listening to close (< 1 mile) truck drivers communicate while on the highway without an added antenna
Answer:	I believe the factory strings are medium gauge. If in doubt, your local music store should (ahem) have single strings by size. If a string broke, be sure it's not tuned too high. Digital tuners are less than twenty bucks now. If the strings are three months old or older, replace 'em all.

Answer:	Here are some basic set-up instructions. First, make sure you take some tension off the strings so that you can place the bridge under the strings. Next, position the bridge midway between the soundholes. Look at the product picture provided by Amazon. Make sure that the bridge is perfectly perpendicular from mandolin face up to the strings. The bridge should not be leaning towards the neck or towards the tail piece (part that holds the strings at the bottom of the mandolin). Now look at the strings lengthwise from the tailpiece down the bridge down the neck. The bridge should be centered on the face with your 8 strings centered and spaced evenly in comparison with the neck (shouldn't skew left or right of the neck). Now tighten and tune the strings on the bridge. The tension of the strings is enough to hold the bridge in place. I do not recommend gluing the bridge. The Washburn comes with an adjustable bridge. Wind both adjustment screws all the way down when starting off. Play your mandolin and see how it sounds and feels. Adjust screws up for better sound and feel. Re-tune after each adjustment. I prefer strings slightly higher for the G strings (closest to top of mandolin as a right hand player) and lower for the E strings (bottom strings for a right hand player). So when you look at the bridge from tailpiece down the neck, the bridge is slightly higher on the left and lower on the right--only slightly. Answer:	There is an option to get it as a kit with the antenna, however I chose to get the kit with the cigarette lighter and then buy the antenna separately

Answer:	several very important combinations concerning max. transmit and receive. Of course the antenna match as close to 1.1- to 1,as possible, the quality of the antenna and ground-plane, the location of antenna, terrain and how high the antenna is, and the lack of obstructions, fixed or mobile. All things make a difference.
