Answer:	NO, this product foes not have a headphone jack. That input jack is only for input such as plugging in your smartphone or tablet.

Answer:	I personally purchased this item. If my memory serves me, this item was actually sold by a third party through Amazon. I use it as a speaker system for my Intel NUC 10 via Bluetooth. It works great and has a very rich sound. As for authenticity, it came with all of the proper documentation and warranty card and I registered it online through JBL with no problems.

Answer:	While rugged and weather resistant, it isn't waterproof and were it to be immersed in water, it might not function. Note this is a battery radio but it also operates on AC, so it isn't designed to be seriously wet.

Answer:	I have one in my large barn w/ florescent lighting, and it works better than the radio that was in there. I don't see where insulation would interfere with reception.

Answer:	Yes it is stated as JIS4 on the Sangean site. The JIS4 Standard is not really a Water-Proof standard, but rather water-resistant. JIS4 in a nutshell means the product must be able to work without damage after submersion in water up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. In other words, it is for products where expected use around water is not under high-pressure, but it could get wet and still be ok. Typical for products with intended use around pools, marine craft, or weather/rain use. Not intended for taking diving for example.

Question:	Can you use it without the battery
Answer:	No. I’ve had mine for several years, and at this point it barely plays CDs. I would advise against buying one.
Question:	Does the display show song info when connected with bluetooth or just radio stations and sd card info
Answer:	I never did, but there is a port on the lower left side right below the volumn knob to use. I love the cd player. Sound is real good but the FM radio reception is not great. But I bought it for the cd player so it doesn't matter.
Question:	When using the headphone jack, is the FM in stereo
Answer:	Yes it is lit. It is also small. I do like the unit tho.
Question:	Is there an AC adapter that can charge it by simply plugging it into an outlet
