Answer:	I don't see why not. As long as the voltage requirement is 1.5 v or 3.0 v (in series) they would be better than alkaline batteries.
Question:	Should you store the batteries in the charger
Answer:	My experience with these is that they drop voltage at the end of their cycle with no warning. One moment the remote works, next moment it does not. I always keep a spare set (fully charged) handy to swap. Other than that, great batteries. Far more useful (and a charge lasts much longer) than the 1.2 V rechargeables.

Answer:	I would think you need a programmable charger. Lithium batteries charge differently then other batteries. I use imax b6 charger or zanflare charger. They both can be set to charge most batteries

Answer:	I take it from your question you bought batteries without the charger, anticipating using your own charger. These batteries require the special charger as there are microchips in the battery that regulate the charge in response to the charger. These batteries were meant as a spare set or extra set for someone who has already purchased the Tenavolts Charger.
