Answer:	The UMS4 charger is cable of activating over-discharged Li-ion batteries or restoring over-discharged IMR batteries. Make sure you read the manual and follow the steps.

Answer:	If you are talking about primary CR123a then no. Primaries can never be recharged. If you're talking about RCR123a (aka 16340) then yes. As a test for fit, I put a primary CR123a (don't have any 16340's) and the sliding mechanism held the battery in place.
Question:	Does this have a “condition” feature to recondition batteries
Answer:	No, you should remove batteries when they are fully charged. The unit has built-in protection to prevent overcharging but why put it to the test continually? The risk of fire far exceeds the benefit of having a fully charged battery.
Question:	does this unit charge the CR123a batterys
Answer:	When all three lights cease completely the battery is charged. I usually just feel the top of the charger if it's cool then it's done.

Answer:	Hi, Jason...that's a very perceptive question. I hadn't noticed that style plug when I ordered the charger. But no worries, the charger comes with a standard 120V two-prong plug. One other fact, the cord length is about 3 1/2 ft from plug end to charger. Charger works great...used mine again just today!

Answer:	I purchased the Nitecore i4version 2014 a few months back and it works perfect on all NI-MH batteries and charges fairly quickly.This charger also does 1.4 volt NI-MH or NICd AA, AAA ,AAAA ,C and the newer solar batteries of 3.2 volts. Its a good charger, better than my oldRadio Shack battery charger that i have for 5 years. It's a keeper !

Answer:	You should try again! D batteries don't fit, but C batteries do. They don't fit _well_, like 18mm batteries do, but you can get two C's in there. Just don't jostle it a lot.

Question:	Will this fully charge a 5000mah 21700 battery
Answer:	To answer this question yourself flip over the device and look at the yellow label where it shows Input. It shows that it accepts 5 voltes at 2 amps or 5V/2A for short hand. That means that any cell phone charger rated for 5V 2A will work this charger to its full potential. You may run into cell chargers that are adaptive and you will see their output as multiple voltages and amperage, this is ok as these chargers "talk" to the device and will select the appropriate voltage and amperage for you. I use a Samsung Fast charger that came with my Note 8 as it is capable of 9V 1.64A and 5V 2A which is the voltage we need. If you only have access to older 5V 1A chargers this is OK and will not damage your new battery charger it just simply will charger your batteries slower.

Answer:	I have many Eneloop batteries and one just started blinking green. Upon examining it, I found that the + side has corroded in some way and the top layer got a bit more brown and I was able to scrape it with my finger.

I have tried about 24 different batteries that do not work. My old charger quit working and I did not know if it was the charger or the batteries that were the problem. I bought this charger to have a new charger for my older batteries. Since it does not work for them, now I must buy ANOTHER charger - not happy

Answer:	If you're asking about the nbm40 it's just a rubber battery holder for storage. It doesn't go in any device. It holds 4x18650 really well, even without the included strap. I keep it in a glove box with extra batteries, and have never had any issues.

Answer:	It seems like it can, I literally just within the last couple days got a new mod for the first time in years. I wanted to try out squonking and got the Vandyvape pulse with the newest chip. This mod takes a 20700 and has a adapter for 18650 but I wanted to run it full blown to start so I bought some Lithicore 20700 and didn't even think about my charger. So when I got to charging it I was initially upset that it didn't fit but it does! It's just a real tight fit but doesn't seem to damage the battery wrap or anything and it recognized the battery and charged um so... It DOES take 20700 but its snug and not listed on the box. Hope this helps.

Answer:	If you are talking about primary CR123a then no. Primaries can never be recharged. If you're talking about RCR123a (aka 16340) then yes. As a test for fit, I put a primary CR123a (don't have any 16340's) and the sliding mechanism held the battery in place.

Answer:	No, you should remove batteries when they are fully charged. The unit has built-in protection to prevent overcharging but why put it to the test continually? The risk of fire far exceeds the benefit of having a fully charged battery.

Answer:	When all three lights cease completely the battery is charged. I usually just feel the top of the charger if it's cool then it's done.

Answer:	Hi, Jason...that's a very perceptive question. I hadn't noticed that style plug when I ordered the charger. But no worries, the charger comes with a standard 120V two-prong plug. One other fact, the cord length is about 3 1/2 ft from plug end to charger. Charger works great...used mine again just today!
