Answer:	I have been comparing them to decide which one I want, this one (hoover Power Scrub) has automatic mixing of the detergent solution and the water, so you can choose a water only (rinse) or water with cleaning solution. The SteamVac, you must mix the solution in the water tank, so in order to rinse you would have to completely empty out the clean tank and then add just water. The power scrub only turns off the scrub brushes when the handle is in the upright and locked position. The scrub brushes on the SteamVac can be adjusted for gentle, normal, and off. They both use heated air on the dry (suction) strokes to help with drying. It looks like the SteamVac might be a little cheaper but then it doesn't come with all the attachments the power Scrub does. In fact it is a little vague on which attachments come with it. I checked the owners manual for both of these for this information. The Power Scrub is about 2 pounds lighter than the SteamVac. The assembly of the SteamVac seems a lot more involved. I think I am about sold on the Hoover Power Scrb Deluxe carpet cleaner.

Answer:	There is a rubber flap on the back of the dirty water tank. If you open that, it breaks the airflow that drives the brushes. It won't pick up liquid while the flap is open though, so I spray and scrub with it open, then seal the flap to extract liquid. I'm not sure if that is the purpose of the flap, but it works.

Answer:	If you think of shampooing your carpet like shampooing your hair, it makes sense to rinse. Adding shampoo to you hair and then stepping out of the shower might make your hair clean, but it's not going to be soft. Long ago (LONG ago) when I shampoo'd carpets as part of my job, we were taught to think of it as hair: (a) Lay down a bit of water first; (b) apply shampoo; (c) rinse it out. If the carpeted area was heavy traffic, do just like the shampoo bottle says -- apply a second bit of shampoo, work it in, and then rinse it out. Over the years I've ALWAYS done that when cleaning my own 2500 sq feet of WHITE carpet in my house, and it always comes out fluffy, soft, and white. Even with several black dogs.

Answer:	This is the first time I used the Lime-Away, its the foam jets spray and not the gel. But I would imagine the gel would be more effective as well, foams kind of slide off fairly quick. Answer:	Just need 1 for 2 123's.

Answer:	These batteries do not come with a charging cord or block. Uses the standard micro usb. My Streamlight 2l-x these fit actually came with 2 of the non rechargeable CR123A batteries. They were fine I just prefer rechargeables. I upgraded to these and am very pleased with them.

Answer:	According to the instructions if you have anything charging using the USB plug in then batteries will not be charged until you are finished charging with the USB plug. In other words you cannot use both at the same time.

Question:	Can this charge an odd number of batteries
Answer:	No, this AmazonBasics charger can only charge even number of batteries. That means 2x AA, 4x AA, 2x AAA, etc. Also, you cannot group 1x AA and 1x AAA as a pair.
Question:	I threw my manual away. can anybody tell me what the difference is between solid red leds and blinking red leds
Answer:	Solid red indicates that the batteries are charging. Blinking red LED means at least one cell is damaged and cannot be charged safely. Damaged cells should be disposed of promptly and properly.
