Answer:	No it doesn't. It feels SO good compared to the foam mattress topper that we used for years. You don't sink into it, either.

Answer:	You can play music through it but it’s really geared more toward voice and vocal range so doesn’t have the bass of speakers designed for music.

Answer:	It is Bluetooth 5. How far depends on you device as much as the speaker, and obstacles. Mine is up stairs, and when I am outside, in the ward, about 15 ft away, with an exterior wall between and a story below, it will still pair up. It certainly seems to work well enough in a single room.

Answer:	On the lowest volume setting there is no sound from the speaker. The volume can be controlled on the unit itself or from the phone that is connected to it. There is also a mute button to cancel outgoing sound. Sound quality is very good, I would recommend this speaker.

Question:	How long is the microphone's cord
Answer:	Yes, and it does it quite well. It has many microphones as well as an echo cancellation mode that enables the device to amplify and quiet as needed. Best practice is to run the 30 second calibration when you set it up to use it, or if you have any issues with input or output during use. It is a very smart device and works better than any other device I have ever tried. The audio is crystal clear even with multiple people trying to talk at once. If you are connecting this up to a computer or using any services like Discord, Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeeting,etc. this device will be treated as a microphone and you can adjust the volume levels to dial it in perfectly. Always test your setup before the event to get it setup perfectly and so you will know how to adjust as needed. But this device does most of the work for you as I have not had to adjust anything in the many times I have used it this year after setup.

Answer:	Yamaha never came out with a SB5XC. Prior to the SB5X series was the SB59 and then later the SB59C. The "C" stood for an extra 1/8" male to 1/8" male cable that Yamaha provided so that you could hook up your CD or MP3 player to the ST9 Module. When the SB5X model come out the still included this extra cable. So the SB5X has the extra cable the and the SB5X-2 does not. Again, Yamaha never listed the new SB5X with a C. If you are see that somewhere, it is a seller that has created that that model number not Yamaha. I am a authorized dealer with Yamaha for 14 years and know this particular product line very well.

Question:	What is the Bluetooth range
Answer:	There are 3 classes of BT devices. The ranges are under 10m (Class3); 10m (Class2) and 100m (Class3). The range you get between two devices will be the range of the least powerful device. If that's a cell phone streaming music, expect less than ten meters. If it is a computer with a Class2 BT radio, expect a solid ten meters. But the only way you will get more than ten meters (30 feet) reliably, is if both devices are Class 3. And portable devices rarely are.
Question:	can i hook up my turmtable as well
Answer:	I have a question more than answer. My turntable is the rather cheap, ION LP mp3 converter, it has a built in preamp, has a pair of red white RCA output. BUT, WHEN I PLUG IT INTO THE #3 RCA PORT, AS INDICATED ON THE PRODUCT PAGE FOR TURNTABLE, the speakers have no sound. Now, my "speaker" is a Yamaha HS5 monitor, it's hooked to the OUT RCA port via a 1/4" jack at the back of the monitor. I suppose I'll have to use proper hi-fi speakers connected via the loose wire ports?

Answer:	100 "X" multiplied by 4 = 400 watts max, and multiple speakers can be connected to single channels if you have a full understanding of OHM's and how the wattage changes with different connections, but a single speaker on each channel that matches up closely at least in OHM's and watts will sound best, but multiple 25watt speakers would be fine on a 100watt channel, and with 4-100watt channels that can be repeated if desired, but if that's done with high power low ohm speakers, they will over draw power and burn up the reciever/amplifier and all this information is found via browser search, or just go basic and match printed numbers and sound great and dont worry about it burning up because of something you did.
