Answer:	This is pre-amp, so it cannot power speakers. Ohms are not relevant in that sense. It probably can power many headphones from the monitor jack on the front, but volume may be limited. Also can drive powered speakers that have their own internal power amplifiers from the RCA outputs on the back. Yes, you definitely need a power amp to drive non-powered speakers. Now, the amp can be a standalone basic or integrated into another device such as a receiver, or as I indicated, powered speakers. But don't let that fool you. You need an amp somewhere in the system, and this is not one since it is a pre-amp.

Answer:	Richard, generally, as I understand it, yes. You will be able to record your records to your PC hard drive. From there, you can convert your music files to whatever formats you prefer. For iTunes, I believe you can import them into iTunes and iTunes will automatically convert them to iTunes format as you import them. Answer:	Basically any receiver/amp will work with this unit as long as the inputs are RCA jacks and that's pretty much all of them. Here's how it breaks down. All turntables require a pre-amp before the signal goes to the main amplifier. Most modern receivers do not have a dedicated slot for turntables any longer. So most turntables include the pre-amp built in. The switch for the pre-amp is on the back of the Audio Technica.* So if your receiver has a setting for "Phonograph", "Phono" or "Turntable" you're good to go. Just switch the pre-amp Off on the back of the turntable.* If your receiver doesn't have a setting for "Phonograph", or one of the a fore mentioned, then turn the switch On. That's it. Simple. Just be aware that should you buy a receiver without a "Phonograph" input you will loose the slot for whatever peripheral should go there. In my case I use an Onkyo CR-315 Shelf Unit. I plug my Audio Tecnica into the "Dock" slot. This is to be used with a special docking device that allows you to plug in an iPod. I know longer have this device, so no harm no fowl. If however I did have this device and needed to use it, I would constantly be switching between these two devices on my receiver. So just make sure you have enough inputs to avoid this potential hassle.Really, the only thing you need to look for on a receiver is to make sure it excepts inputs through RCA jacks and again, that's pretty much the standard. As to brand, that's up to you as far as your needs and budget.

Answer:	Yes, you can play your favorite cassettes and record them to a USB/FlashDrive. Note, if you want to have separate tracks, you will need to press record before and after each song; otherwise you will just have 1 long track that includes all songs on one side of the tape. Hopefully that answers your question! You can do the same to record to flashdrive from the radio or vinyl record. I have not tried recording from bluetooth or AUX to a flashdrive, but I imagine the process would be about the same.

The Classic LP utilizes a high-quality Audio Technica AT3600L stylus and magnetic cartridge which can be found at various third-party retail locations online.  They can also be ordered directly from ION Audio by e-mailing [email protected] 

 

How do I connect this to my home stereo?

If you have connected speakers to the Classic LP using the RCA Audio Output connections, do NOT connect the RCA cables to a Phono input as this could damage your speakers.  Ensure that you connect them to a line-level input such as AUX, CD, or TAPE.  

 

What speed records can this play?

This turntable can playback 33 / 45 / 78. There is a switch that controls the RPM of the turntable platter.

 

Will this work on a PC & Mac?

The Classic LP is compatible with both Windows and Mac computers out of the box. 

 

Is this powered by a USB port?

No.  The Classic LP is powered with the included 12V DC 1A pin-positive power supply.

 

My record is skipping, what should I do?

If the record is skipping, try cleaning the record directly using standard LP cleaning techniques. For some materials that can help with the cleaning of your vinyl, you can find the VINYL ALIVE Record Cleaning Kit on the ION Audio website. If the record continues to skip, consider replacing the stylus.

 

Why does my turntable move when I push on it?

This is normal!  The turntable mechanism base, platter & tonearm are engineered to float above the wood platform on isolation mountings to allow you to play music through the built-in speakers without feedback.

Question:	Does this have a regular 120VAC wall plug, or does it rely on an external "adapter" with the thin low voltage wire
Answer:	You would not be able to bolt down the Imac with the swivel stand. There probably would be no room between the plates where the ball bearings allow the stand to swivel . The weight of the Imac with swivel stand is quite a few pounds and it does take an adult 2 hands to lift and move a 24-27" imac around on your desk. Swivel stand feet are rubber and so it does not slide around at all and I just don't think a little person between 1-4 years could even move an imac in its swivel stand. I really think the Mac and a swivel stand will just fine as I several of these in my stores and home . The Rain Designs i360 works great and is a great solution for the Imac.
Question:	Can you hook it up to Bluetooth to project the sound of the record
Answer:	Yes, the Apple store says that the dimensions of the iMac 5K are the same as the iMac 27", so the i360 27" turntable stand should work with the iMac 5k.
Question:	What is the return policy
Answer:	Don't know. Matches well to 24", 9,1 model Early 2009. I find it indispensable. Pivot to get to backside ports. Elevates & tilts. Turn screen to avoid reflections. Improves sound from those tiny downfiring speakers. Buy it, and paint it if a color discrepancy bothers you.

Answer:	One model does NOT work for all size iMacs. Rain Design makes two versions, 1 size is for the 21.5 inch and below, the 2nd size is for 24/27 inch, including the 27" iMac with Retina/5K display.
