Answer:	no switch. You can plug/unplug, I leave it plugged in all the time.

Answer:	Most likely people who are having noise problems it is because of ground loop isolation problem. If you have a ground loop isolation problem grounding the preamp box is unlikely to help. Without getting technical, what you want to buy is a ground loop isolator or a humm eliminator; both the ground loop isolator and humm eliminator tackles the cause of the noise at the fundamental source of the problem, depending on your audio setup, one maybe easier to use than the other. To use the ground loop isolator or the humm eliminator they generally come with instructions, or you can google this topic. If the noise in your audio system isn't fixed by using this solution the first time, try putting the ground loop isolator and humm eliminator at various points in your audio system. Also you can talk to audio people and get advice about how to fix ground loop problems from people who setup big audio systems, for concerts and such; if you talk to the average electronic garage shop audio enthusiast you are likely to get bad advice, i.e., meaningless explanations. Also caution must be used when Googling this topic, much of the discussion, advice and explanation on this topic is bogus, you can get a general correct feel of this topic if you read a number of explanations. Also one more thing that can cause a "popping noise" is that you have too much gain, this is a phono amp and the gain is huge, it takes a 3mV and makes it 2Vp-p this is a gain of around 100 to 200, if you gain up the audio signal too much then the signal out of your amplifier runs out of head room and clips, this can cause a popping sound, essentially you have too much gain. If this is occurring you need to either buy a preamp with less gain or attenuate the signal before it gets to the preamp. If this is a problem, too much gain, you can buy preamps with gain control.

Answer:	Yes, indeed. If your need was like mine (no built-in pre-amp on the turntable and no specifically dedicated phono input on your amplifier) you will find this unit to be the perfect solution to needed amplification of the turntable's output. Don't forget to hook up the ground wire as directed or you may wind up putting unwanted noise into the audio.
Question:	My amp DOES have a Phono Input, but my cartridges are low output. Can I use this to boost the signal using the Phono Input to reduce audible hiss
Answer:	No, you can't. This is a phono preamp with RIAA playback equalization that amplifies the signal about 100 times, so it essentially does what your built-in phono preamp does. The output signal from the separate preamp is equalized to a nominally "flat" frequency response and the amplified signal level will overload and probably damage your built-in phono preamp. Plug it into any other stereo line input on your system (AUX, CD, DVD, TAPE, VCR, etc.), but NOT the PHONO input! If you need higher signal gain, maybe look at phono preamps from ART or TCC that have output level controls. If you use moving-coil (MC) cartridges, you need a preamp specifically designed for them...they require at least 55 dB (over 500 times) signal gain vs. about 40 dB (100 times) for moving-magnet (MM) cartridges. Noise becomes a critical issue with MC cartridges because of their extremely low signal output, so good-quality cables and good turntable grounding are essential.

The Receiver should have multiple inputs for receiving signals from eg. NOTE: If the receiver has a "Phono" input then there's a built-in preamp. If your using an external preamp (Pyle PP999) do NOT plug it into the Receiver's 'Phono' input, it could cause damage. Answer:	How loud it will get greatly depends on your speaker sensitivity. If you are using very efficient speakers it will fill a medium size room with sound. My speakers have a sensitivity of 99 db and it will fill the medium size living and dining room with plenty enough sound for my liking. If you are talking about a large gathering of people in a large area I am not sure this amplifier will fit your needs.

Answer:	No, this does nothing to clean up the sound of the record due to pops and clicks. I would recommend an ultrasonic cleaner for that. You can buy ready made kits, or you can create a DIY kit at home.

Answer:	I have not used a wireless sub of any kind with this unit, but I would be surprised if this worked with a BT sub. The BT on this unit as far as I have read will pair with a device as an “input” to the receiver for audio but will not transmit to an external device. I would not count on using it this way.

Answer:	Yes I am driving elac unifi ub5 with this. Kept it on 8ohm but can be switched to 4 ohms if you don’t want to live adventurously

Answer:	I just purchased this receiver. N803 and YES, hooked up my EQ. Here is how. 1st depends on how many INPUTS you have on your EQ. Mine has 6. Plug in devices you have into INPUTS you have on back of EQ. Phono, Tape, Tuner, Aux, etc. Device name is only to help you remember what is hocked up. where. You could plug in CD player into Tuner INPUT. It's just a memory thing. Now your OUTPUT on the EQ, hook to the back of your RECEIVER IN LINE 2 OR 3. NOT 1. You need an OUTPUT. This would be like adding a reel to reel to tape to. But you don't have to. [1 doesn't have an output.] I hooked up to [Line2] on receiver. Turn dial on receiver to [Line 2]. Control your devices you want to listen to on EQ, not the receiver. Receiver will always be [Line 2]. this set up allows you, if your EQ has memory to program each device, save the settings from one device to another. Change settings by a push of a button. Answer:	As long as your turntable has RCA inputs, this should work just fine. Hookup is simple and amplifier is easy to use.
Question:	Will it work with a jvc la55 turn table
Answer:	There is no on-off switch. The unit draws very little power from its wall-wart power supply which would remain powered-up even with the unit switched off. I recommend leaving it on or controlling it along with the other audio equipment. Powering it up while monitoring its output results in a loud "thump."
Question:	Where would i plug this into my receiver? my denison receiver does not have phono plugs. it does have an aux, cd, and vcr though. which plug
Answer:	You can't "hurt" anything with any of these settings. Of course, you want to use the 'phono' or direct output of the turntable, not the 'line level' or amplified output. just try the 100pf (I think this is more 'standard') and listen for a while. Then try the 200pf setting and see if it sounds better. I think the effects would be mainly small, possibly none.

Answer:	It should. It is WAY BETTER sound quality than any built-in phono pre-amp on a receiver. I tried to connect my turntable to the phono input on my Yamaha RX-v685. The sound was uninspiring (to me). I then got the Schiit Mani and plugged my Pro Ject turntable into it and fed the output to the Yamaha Aux-in port (line level). The sound quality difference was dramatic. If you have a nice vinyl collection and turntable, get the Mani. You won't be disappointed. If you have a built-in pre or phono input on your receiver, you can compare and see for yourself as I did.

Answer:	It would work. I’m using 8 ohms right now and I tried 4ohms also and it worked.
Question:	Does it have a connection for a powered subwoofer
Answer:	Most subwoofers have speaker level connectors. You connect all four speaker wires out from the amp into the sub and then there are four connectors to go out to the speakers from the sub. Then you can set the pass through levels on the subwoofer for the optimum sound you want. The sub handles the low tones and passes the higher tones on to your speakers. It works great. Plenty of tutorials on youtube and such.

Answer:	You need to purchase a preamp that is designed for the input that you are using. Microphone inputs and phono inputs are not the same. Behringer designs different preamps for each of those functions. Check them out.
Question:	I have a turntable with RCA jacks out, then Logitech speakers with a converter from a headphone-type jack to RCA jacks. Do I just need a preamp
Answer:	Yes. You can hook the turntable's RCA jacks to the speaker RCA jacks and get audio. However, if it's an older turntable it may not be grounded, and you will hear a humming sound. Also, your audio will be very low in volume. The pre-amp will eliminate the humming sound, and give you the volume you desire.

Answer:	I have the Bluetooth model so your internal pre-amp may or may not be different but I route my turntable through a midi device with onboard sampling and the built in preamp is not enough to boost the signal to useable levels. You can test yours out but I know I need a preamp.
