Answer:	I believe that increasing the gain will only push the noise on the recording device. It should not affect an increase of self noise of the mic.

Starting with the plinth, Crosley wanted to create a more substantial look so they used a bigger piece of audio grade MDF and wrapped it in handsome Walnut veneer with subtle branding. On/off and speed selection (33 1/3 and 45 RPM) is controlled by one anodized knob that helps maintain the clean, understated silhouette. To help with Rouge vibration that could affect sound quality, we isolated the motor and use an external belt to spin the full-size aluminum platter. Answer:	You would not be able to bolt down the Imac with the swivel stand. There probably would be no room between the plates where the ball bearings allow the stand to swivel . The weight of the Imac with swivel stand is quite a few pounds and it does take an adult 2 hands to lift and move a 24-27" imac around on your desk. Swivel stand feet are rubber and so it does not slide around at all and I just don't think a little person between 1-4 years could even move an imac in its swivel stand. I really think the Mac and a swivel stand will just fine as I several of these in my stores and home . The Rain Designs i360 works great and is a great solution for the Imac.
Question:	Can you hook it up to Bluetooth to project the sound of the record
Answer:	Yes, the Apple store says that the dimensions of the iMac 5K are the same as the iMac 27", so the i360 27" turntable stand should work with the iMac 5k.
Question:	What is the return policy
Answer:	Don't know. Matches well to 24", 9,1 model Early 2009. I find it indispensable. Pivot to get to backside ports. Elevates & tilts. Turn screen to avoid reflections. Improves sound from those tiny downfiring speakers. Buy it, and paint it if a color discrepancy bothers you.
Question:	does the record stop
Answer:	One model does NOT work for all size iMacs. Rain Design makes two versions, 1 size is for the 21.5 inch and below, the 2nd size is for 24/27 inch, including the 27" iMac with Retina/5K display.
