Question:	The shipping weight for 100 ft of 14 AWG pure copper wire is listed as 1 pound. Can that be right? Seems awfully light to me
Answer:	I agree and don't remember the weight - I still have 30 feet of it. The spool it came on weighs about 4.5 ounces and with the 30 feet wire, it is about 1 pound 3 ounces. It really is nice wire - wish I had 10 more feet as I need 40' to run to one of my speakers. I need to check if it comes in 50' quantity.
Question:	The two strands in the picture look the same. How do you distinguish +/- in long runs
Answer:	Both strands of wire are identical. The only difference is one is marked with a blue stripe to help you identify that specific strand. When connecting the wires, ensure you connect each strand to the same corresponding terminal on each end of your connection. For example, blue stripe to negative, no-stripe to positive. Connect in the same manner on both ends and you shouldn't have any problems. For cleaner connections, add banana plugs or pin plugs to the ends (banana plugs for binding post terminals, pin plugs for spring clip terminals.)

Answer:	12 awg is thicker than 14 awg. The lower the number, the thicker the wire. I think this is very nice speaker wire. It is thick but I just have it laid on the floor.

Answer:	Any stand will work. I purchased wall mounts for my surround speakers.
Question:	Could I use this with a receiver and what would I need to do to get it to work correctly
Answer:	It will work with any 80-100w/ channel receiver. Connect using banana plugs and 14 gauge speaker wire. Make sure to get the woofer spreaker cable with a Y splitter. Monoprice website sells all the cables you need at a great price. Better than amazon
Question:	Could anyone recommend a set of towers to make this a 7.1 system
Answer:	I would definitely agree. Monoprice sells a set of two of the speakers separately for use on their own as a 2 channel system or as an add on to this 5.1 system to make it 7.1. They even sell the subwoofer separately as well if you ever want to upgrade to a true 7.2 system. Then everything will be perfectly matched. Make sure to get the correct set of two Premium Monoprice speakers. Monoprice also sells a lower quality standard 5.1 surround sound system and a set of two extras of that type as well. If you have the correct set, they will exactly match the speakers in the Monoprice Premium 5.1 surround sound speaker set. I know this because I actually had what I thought was the correct one in my shopping cart only to find out it was the wrong set just before pulling the trigger. So it's an easy mistake to make even when you've done a bunch of research. I hope you enjoy your system. They are absolutely amazing speakers. My family is constantly amazed at how much information and nuance is embedded in soundtracks of our favorite movies and shows that we never heard with our previous home theater system.
