This studio-quality subwoofer designed to be integrated with your studio monitors, for use with recording, mixing, and mastering duties. It features a built-in 200-watt (RMS) class AB amplifier. Answer:	These are good subs, and loud. But my Audiopipe 2000 watts class D amp blew both speakers. Get the 1500 watts!

Question:	Should i buy this or a elac debut s10? (in combination with two eris 44) thank you
Answer:	In my opinion . . . it's great. I have this sub paired with two JBL LSR305 powered studio monitors in a relatively small office. I use the system to listen to either pre-recorded music from my PC, or a few synthesizers that I play myself. In all cases the sub sounds great, and really adds some nice low end to the mix. And this is with the sub turned up just a bit, maybe set to 2/10. I suspect you could pair this sub with higher-power main speakers and it could fill up a much larger room with sound. Only minus is that is probably does not reach down into the low sub-bass ranges (15-30 Hz) that some larger 12" or 15" subs can reach.
Question:	I just bought the e5 studio monitors and have the Presonus basic interface with 2 outputs. How does the sub hook up to either monitors or interface
Answer:	Yes they will work but balanced is ideal of course.
Question:	Is there any way to keep this sub from auto-sleep mode when playing music at low levels? It keeps shutting off and it's really annoying
Answer:	It won't. The input power is 100-120VAC.

Answer:	As David S. said, a sustain pedal does work just fine, and many will already have one around. If you're purposefully buying for this application, I'd recommend something like Fender's 1-button push switch. There are many guitar foot switches though, from A/B selectors to 2-3 button foot switches if you happen to need to control other things like pedals or some rack mounted gear.

Answer:	Hello, When using the crossover at 80Hz, it would apply a high pass filter to your monitors from 80Hz. It would also engage a low pass filter on the sub from anything above 80Hz. Question:	If I use the TRS input, will I be able to use the XLR output
Answer:	Yes, you can use the balanced Tip-Ring-Sleeve 1/4" input (that might come from your preamp) with the balanced XLR (microphone-type) output to your satellite speakers. Shouldn't be any issues unless one of your cables have a pin wired in conflict. This is exactly how I have it configured using a Duet 2 and LSR-308s.

Answer:	Yes but not necessarily, with the right connection wires it can be run from any type of input. I run a 1/8" to two 1/4" (L & R) into the sub and two female XLRs to 1/4" cables into my monitors. Sounds amazing.

Answer:	I may be confused but the description says "4 hour rechargeable battery" and the one that I got had a pretty big sealed gel cell internally and runs without AC power once it's charged....

Answer:	It has no battery that I am aware of, I plug it into electricity to use.

Answer:	No, there is no way to hook up these speakers in paralNo, there is no way to hook these speakers in series. You can use a "Y" connector from a single source output post or Jack, but you would get double mono, not stereo. But in this easy you can get more area coverage. In most large areas, stereo is not used, just mono from each speaker. Hope this helps.
Question:	What's the difference in this model and the Edifier R1280T model
Answer:	That really depends on several things. If you want great musical fidelity and played loud in a large room then don't expect to get that from this item. But if you use this for voice amplification then you'll be fine. Generally speaking the louder you make any speaker work, the greater the chances of risking distortion. I've used this for giving seminars to a group of 25+ people in a medium room and it was perfect. Inv also used it for a much, much larger group of people in a larger room, again, a working lecture, and it worked very well. For my slide presentations (PowerPoint) I have some background music track at a lower volume and I'll voice-over that which works well too. But I wouldn't use it for hi fidelity music for large groups in a large room or even outdoors. Hope this helps

Answer:	While the material keeps them pretty motionless the lip/wedge is support for the back of the speaker to hold securely.
Question:	how would these work for the 8 inch jbl lsr 308 studio monitors
Answer:	I would think the would work fine. Those JBLs seem to be around the same size as my Alesis monitors.
Question:	Would these be suitable for tower speakers listed at 34.4 lbs? I don’t want the front of the foam to compress too much and tilt the speaker forward
Answer:	Frankly, I don't think this foam can support that kind of weight. The speakers will tilt. The small studio monitors I use weigh about 10-12 pounds and that is all I feel comfortable with.

Answer:	Most likely not. The problem with subwoofers is the way the low frequency waves are shaped and how they travel through walls. The pads will help a little with the direct vibration transmitted to the floor, but not with the rest...

Answer:	I'm using them as front stereo speakers with a subwoofer in my living room. I use them for stereo music and we use them when watching movies. They should be plenty loud. You'll have to find the right balance with them if you are using a center channel. Otherwise they will work fine. I have these and an 8 inch Yamaha subwoofer and it fills the room with sound during music and movies.

Answer:	If you are referring to the speaker playing a random radio station at a very low volume, it is a result of the cables used to connect your speaker to the computer. My earbuds have the same problem, when I turn off my music and there's still residual power left in them. The cables you have must not be well shielded and are picking up on a radio frequency in your area, as the cables can act like antennas. Since you are the only one who seems to have this problem, I would think that it's probably just a problem with the wires. It may be safe to get a replacement for the whole thing. If you don't want to bother, see if a better set of cables will help.

Answer:	From your interface, using a 1/4" TRS Cable, run your R and L to the sub first. The sub has 2 outputs on it that you can then run 2 more 1/4" TRS cables to your monitors. Basically the audio flows through the sub on its way to your monitors. The Temblor has a crossover built into its outputs, meaning the low freq that the sub covers, will be removed from monitors.

Gain and frequency knobs on the control panel allow you to adjust the crossover filter and the power output for the optimum blend and balance of bass output with your stereo or surround speakers. The subwoofer has multiple input options, which allow it to be used with any existing stereo or 5.1 (or greater) amplifier system. For each input there is a corresponding output. Gain and frequency knobs on the control panel allow you to adjust the crossover filter and the power output for the optimum blend and balance of bass output with your stereo or surround speakers.
• The subwoofer has multiple input options, which allow it to be used with any existing stereo or 5.1 (or greater) amplifier system. For each input there is a corresponding output.
• High-level inputs accept a full-range signal from the amplifier's stereo speaker outputs. When connecting the unit as part of a 5.1 system, these would be taken off the Front Left and Front Right outputs in parallel to the standard pair of front speakers. The subwoofer provides its own power and includes impedance matching circuitry, so this will not reduce the power output to the front speakers or affect the overall impedance load on the amplifier.
• Additionally, the subwoofer has a set of right/left Line Level inputs. If using a standard stereo system, without a special subwoofer output, you can connect these to the left and right line level outputs on the amp. The subwoofer will then combine the signals to process the mono bass signal it needs to drive the speaker. If you are using an amplifier with a single mono subwoofer line level output, simply use an RCA "Y" cable to split the output and send it to the two line level inputs on the subwoofer.
• The subwoofer is housed in an attractive black wood cabinet that measures 13.75" x 11.75" x 11.75" (H x W x D). The driver and a 2 3/4" sound port are located on the front, covered by a black cloth speaker grill.

Answer:	11 7/8" wide 13" tall with feet attached 11 3/4" deep BUT add 1/2" for the connections that stick out the pack, perhaps a bit more to allow for the cables to plug in.

Answer:	Use a 3,5mm to 'Y' RCA cable (adapter). JSAUX makes a good one, I use it from my ZVOX to subwoofer. JSAUX RCA Cable, [6.6ft/2M, Dual Shielded Gold-Plated] 3.5mm Male to 2RCA Male Stereo Audio Adapter If you need more length just get a male-to-female 3.5mm extender/headphone cable.
