User questions & answers

Question: what would be the best wiring to get in order to get the best sound out of these speakers
Answer: I use this in addition to a height adjustable slide out keyboard tray. My desk didn’t have one, so I installed one on my own. Or I use the keyboard on my lap. You can try setting something on your lap, like a pillow or whatever. But I’m usually reclined when the keyboard is on my lap.
Question: Are these 8 or 4 ohm speakers
Answer: I am on my second one of these because the wrist pad does deteriorate - and on my current one the covering on the mouse pad has come loose. Don't know if they do replacement parts.
Question: Can I use this for a 7.1 system for the rears directly behind the couch. The couch is only 2 feet from the wall. Thanks
Answer: You need to prepare more straps, cause the original one is design to small chair arms.
Question: Whats the difference between the rp-140sa and the r-41sa
Answer: Mine drops to 15 inches from floor to top of seat cushion. Most appealing to me is the 16 inch seat depth. This prevents slouching and fits my kids rather nicely too.

User questions & answers

Question: With 8 ohm loads, both channels driven, from 20-20,000 Hz; rated 80 watts per channel minimum will be enough for these floorstanding speaker
Answer: Yes, you will need to install the casters. They are very easy to install and the tools are provided with the chair. It might not work using it without the casters, because on the bottom bar where you install the casters there is a little extension that comes out to accept the casters. Could be kind of hard on any kind of floor covering. I do love the chair by the way.
Question: How does this sound with the RP-500C
Answer: It works with a little more effort than a regular chair. Need to step over the middle bar in a sideways manner. Its not a huge step over about 8 to 10 inches. Then its the same and you can scoop the skirt under as we girls do. I wear only pants and I sit by coming over the back. Tried it with a skirt and it just requires that side step over middle bar.
Question: If I had to manually set the crossover frequency on my receiver, which would be ideal
Answer: Yes - I am 6'2" 175 and it fits just fine. It has a few adjustabilities so you might have to play with it a bit. I have been using it for about a month - all day at work and it has helped me sit straight.
Question: Does " set of 1 " mean a pair or each
Answer: I have a logitech performance MX at full weight and the biggest problem I have is the mouse slides off of the pad because it does not stay level. I'm not sure of the weight for the hotas but it's not like the thing is made from wood or metal - it's sturdy but not built for any kind of serious weight.

Question: what material is the cabinet made from
Answer: I believe it does, but has adjustments to prevent it from movement right at your side.
Question: Am I supposed to take out the foam in the atmos speaker? I didn't try so I'm just checking
Answer: Sure it is.
Question: What is the difference between the 280fa and the 8060fa? what changes updates have been made? thanks
Answer: this is NOT a folding chair, it's an ergonomic chair and you would have to unscrew and take apart, I guess you could do that but it's not specifically designed as a folding chair, none of these types ergonomic chairs are folding chairs actually, so it's not just this one.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this offer for single or pair speakers
Answer: Pair
Question: Are they "power speakers?" As in, could they be connected to a record player without a reciever
Answer: The R-14M is a passive speaker that requires a receiver or amp to power it.
Question: Would these be good for near field studio monitors or not neutral enough
Answer: As far as studio monitors, you are correct, they are not completely neutral. They are very efficent speakers however and far exceed the power ratings Klipsch specifies. Their ideal situation is really for home theather rear or side channel surround sound as effects channels. They also make a very powerful, high-fi bookshelf companion for a mini system. I am currently using them in a 7.2 Atoms setup and they knock it out of the park. If you are truely looking for 1-1 studio monitors, Yahmaha is they way to go but have your checkbook ready. ;)
Question: What's the battery for
Answer: I believe that's an error in the description. These are passive, wired speakers. I have a pair...they're excellent speakers for the price.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this set (rf250) dolby atmos
Answer: 8
Question: I am looking for detailed product specifications / manual for this speaker set. Could someone please share an online link
Answer: In a similar seating situation, I used Bi-Polar speakers for my rear surrounds, a couple feet above ear level. I got the Fluance XLBP Bipolar speakers and love them.
Question: Does this include a remote control
Answer: Correction. The RP-140sa are still in production.
Question: Would this set up sound fine playing am/fm music and of course movies? it would be hooked up to a sony str-za2100es
Answer: This chair is set for longer legs. I am 5'6" with longer legs and my feet are comfortable on the floor. Anyone 5'5" with short legs won't be able to reach the floor and that is with adjusting the seat height. The problem is when you sit at your computer to type, the seat height is all wrong. They really should have the chair height listed at the highest and the lowest adjustment. Mine is not working out for that reason.

User questions & answers

Question: Will klipsch rp-500sa dolby atmos surround sound speakers work with this speaker in a surround sound room
Answer: There really isn't much difference between those and RP-140SA besides the switch which changes then from Atmos to surround. Honestly I used the 140SA ones on top on these towers for a year. Someone later suggested mounting them above my tv facing the seated position and the Atmos is experience is much better. Enjoy
Question: Can the base be removed and the speaker secured to a platform via spiked screws
Answer: Offhand, I'm pretty sure the base cannot be taken off (at least not without doing some damage). I know it does have the holes to screw in the carpet spikes, though, so would assume it can't be removed to make it more stable.
Question: Are these speakers meant primarily for HT, as opposed to speakers meant for stereo audio
Answer: They sound fantastic for stereo!
Question: If I buy these, Do I even need a subwoofer
Answer: Need? No, however, I just purchased these speakers a month or so ago, I got it for music 2.0 listening mainly. I loved the bass! So you would be okay without SW. Then, I got curious and purchased this Klipsch sub https://amzn.to/2SAh0wZ since then, I have not turned it off! It is just much nicer with certain type of music. Especially Jazz, R&B, some heavy metal, and classical music. If you mainly listen to pop, you may not gain much but for $250 a good sub is nice to have. Also depends on pop, haven’t played yet but I’m planning to listen some Michael Jackson classics on these speakers with and without the subwoofer. Need? No. Recommend? Sure!

Question: What are the dimensions of these speakers
Answer: They are individually sold. Just bought two and they will be shipped in two boxes.
Question: Do these speakers have an AUX in
Answer: That receiver would work, but it might not be optimal performance. The R-820F speaker has a 150Watts minimum power rating at 8 Ohms nominal with a 600 Watts peak. Our speakers can run efficiently off of 80% of their minimum power rating so at least we would recommend 120 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms for this model. We also don’t recommend going over half way to the peak power on our speakers so the maximum recommended would be 300 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this a powered sub? And how many watts does it have
Answer: Hi Mike, I saw your question and wanted to give you the correct answer. The phase switch determines the way the subwoofer cone ( speaker ) reacts. When set to "0" the speaker cone will move in the outward direction at the same time ( phase ) of your main ( left & Right ) speakers. When it is set to "180" the speaker cone of the sub will move inward when your main speakers' cones are moving outward. What this does is cancel out any overlapping frequencies between your main speakers and your subwoofer. When you have overlapping frequencies between your sub and main speakers you will get too much or "bloated" mid bass. Some people prefer "180" because they feel the cancelled out frequencies produces "tighter" and more accurate bass. Other people like more mid bass, so you need to listen to it both ways to find which you prefer. The same thing will happen if you hook up speakers with the speaker wires hooked up with positive & negative swapped ( positive speaker wire in the negative speaker terminal and negative speaker wire in the positive speaker terminal ). Just as an added note, the "Low Pass" filter knob will determine what lower frequencies pass through from your receiver to your subwoofer. The higher the frequency (Hz) the more mid bass the sub outputs and the lower the frequency (Hz) the less mid bass that the subwoofer outputs. You want the subwoofer to optimally blend with your main speakers and that is what the "low pass" filter knob allows you to do. If you are using a surround sound receiver and it is set for Dolby Digital or DTS surround modes receivers will normally automatically crossover the sub output at 80 Hz, so moving the Low pass knob on the sub beyond 80 Hz will have no effect. Now, if you have a surround receiver that utilizes the Audyssey Microphone system to adjust the surround parameters you will want to set the subwoofers low pass knob all the way to the highest frequency. The Adyssey system will determine what frequency blends best with your main speakers. Hope this is helpful.
Question: What gain setting do you have your subwoofer set to? I want as much bass as possible from my audio sources (tv, games, movies, etc
Answer: Yes, there is base and treble adjustment, as well as Vizio truVolume adjustment. We have two of these, I have been impressed with the richness of the sound on this particular model.
Question: Are the surrounds foam or rubber...getting tire of foam
Answer: yes , it will right out of the box.
Question: What does the phase toggle do? I read ther manual, but it didn't explain it in a manner I could understand
Answer: This sound bar uses Bluetooth version 4.1.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the range of these 4" woofer speakers?? Hz To kHz
Answer: Depending on your distance it could vary for a wide soundstage. However, in my setup, which is about 9 feet away from the center, it sounds fantastic. The 500c is excellent compared to the regular reference r-52c. Much more clarity and the dispersion pairs well with the dispersion of the 610f horn/wave guide. More than 10 feet would probably warrant a bigger center though for soundstage width.
Question: hows the bass on this compare to r15? personal use in my bedroom only and i dnt wanna spend on subwoofy. thanks in advance
Answer: While this is a matter of preference, Klipsch would recommend setting the R-610F speakers in between 80-100Hz.
Question: Is it a pair or a single speaker
Answer: No one speaker
Question: I'm new to this, how to connect these speakers with a turntable that has a built-in pre-amplifier? I'm totally confused. There is no place to plug
Answer: Any 16-gauge or 14-gauge wire should do the trick.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this compatible with Klipsch's Reference (R) series
Answer: Thanks for your question. The settings vary room-to-room, set-up to set-up. There is no single perfect setting. World Wide Stereo is 37 years old and a very proud Klipsch dealer.
Question: What is he Ohmic value of this speaker
Answer: I own this R-112SW installed in a 6..1 Klipsch Reference Premiere arrangement. This sub is a BEAST. I also have my best system installed in my master bedroom. It is a 7.2.4 all Klipsch Reference Premiere setup using two of the larger more powerful R-115SW subs and while I love that system to death I would say that especially for music the R-112SW has tighter bass and sounds spectacular. The R-115SW's are killer as well and a bit better (but not much) for movies. I cannot imagine anyone not being completely blown away by the performance of either of these subs. Know also that these subs all have built in powerful amps and will not tax your AVR/Receiver in any way.
Question: Can i use a 2 male to 1 male to connect it to my receiver? i have a yamaha rx-v381 (1 subwoofer output
Answer: When it comes to drivers, especially subs which require a fair amount of displacement for sub frequencies (less for a ported setup like this), more is always better. Larger (more cone area) with all else being equal is always better for sound quality and output. The more power you put into the sub, the more distortion. The farther the sub has to move (excursion), the more distortion it produces. Having a second identical sub means LESS THAN HALF the power and excursion for the same output due to coupling which increases efficiency (the amount of power you will require) and decreases distortion. I competed in car audio sound quality competition and I used 2x 16” subs that rarely got cranked up any louder than a single 10” was capable of but they were so efficient and distortion was so low. At 1mm of excursion, a single 10” would be moving a couple inches for the same output with a ton of power required. My home system was 4x 15” (Acoustic Elegance) and both the home and car were infinite baffle. I can go on for days but would two of these work better than one, absolutely yes, for efficiency and for sound quality. Do you need a pair vs a single, would you be able to hear a difference, it depends on a lot of things but probably not unless you’re really serious about your sound quality and if you’re going to push the single driver really hard. Don’t forget that with a sealed setup, it requires 4x more displacement to go an octave lower at the same volume. Getting that displacement from more cone area vs excursion will reduce distortion and increase efficiency. With a ported speaker like these it’s a little more complicated but you get the point. Don’t forget, a single 15” sub has about 1.7x more cone area than a 12” and a single 12” is going to have about 1.3-1.5x more cone area than a 10”. And before anyone says it, no, a 15 is not “slower”, “boomer”, or “sloppier” than a 12, 10, or 8” sub. No myths please. A single 15 in this case might have been a good idea when cost is factored in but this is 2 years old (yes, I’m bored) and I’m sure the OP is happy with his purchase.

Its unique contoured curve structure shape supports your thighs and keeps you elevated so your buttocks hangs freely. This is also our preferred driving pillow.
