Answer:	No they have a 6 1/2" mid-range/woofer and a tweeter. There is a tuned port in the rear. I think 3-way speakers are becoming less common with the newer more responsive mid range speakers like these have.

Answer:	It's all a matter of tastes. I've owned Polk speakers. In this situation, I'm sure you'll get more mid range with the Polk's because you'll have more speakers, if that's your thing. I prefer the Klipsch because they are crisper, cleaner, a bit more live like sounding. The Polk's are a bit more subdued, a bit more even sounding. The Klipsch have plenty of bass and plenty of horn, which is where that "live" sound comes from. They are also a bit more efficient. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. FYI..........I have my speakers hooked up to an older Sony receiver with 80 watts pc. Music is all that I use them for. No experience with home theater.

Answer:	There really isn't much difference between those and RP-140SA besides the switch which changes then from Atmos to surround. Honestly I used the 140SA ones on top on these towers for a year. Someone later suggested mounting them above my tv facing the seated position and the Atmos is experience is much better. Enjoy
Question:	Can the base be removed and the speaker secured to a platform via spiked screws
Answer:	Offhand, I'm pretty sure the base cannot be taken off (at least not without doing some damage). I know it does have the holes to screw in the carpet spikes, though, so would assume it can't be removed to make it more stable.
Question:	Are these speakers meant primarily for HT, as opposed to speakers meant for stereo audio
Answer:	They sound fantastic for stereo!
Question:	If I buy these, Do I even need a subwoofer
Answer:	Need? No, however, I just purchased these speakers a month or so ago, I got it for music 2.0 listening mainly. I loved the bass! So you would be okay without SW. Then, I got curious and purchased this Klipsch sub https://amzn.to/2SAh0wZ since then, I have not turned it off! It is just much nicer with certain type of music. Especially Jazz, R&B, some heavy metal, and classical music. If you mainly listen to pop, you may not gain much but for $250 a good sub is nice to have. Also depends on pop, haven’t played yet but I’m planning to listen some Michael Jackson classics on these speakers with and without the subwoofer. Need? No. Recommend? Sure!

Answer:	Adding a subwoofer would depend on preference or maybe how large your room is. In most cases you would not need a subwoofer, but if you do you can use this with a Klipsch wireless subwoofer set.
Question:	Why do I have to unplug and plug back in for optical pin to work each time unit has been cut off
Answer:	I use the optical connection from my older visio ec70 TV and never have an issue. Could be defective or an issue with whatever you are connecting your speakers to. Try a different connection to see if that has same effect.
Question:	Should I buy a subwoofer or do these speakers come with enough bass that you don't need one? I will be using these speakers for a home theater
Answer:	You can always add one later. I’m currently not using one. I live in a condo and the bass is plenty for my setup. Position of the speakers plays a part too. I have hooked up a powered 10” sub and that did sound great - it’s just too much bass for my small place.

Answer:	Any reciever with sufficient terminals will work with it. I have an older yamaha. Not ancient but any full video reciever will do the job. More recent reciever will support them more fully of course

Answer:	This does not require I'm ceiling speakers. Dolby atmos acts as a an ceiling speaker by reflecting sounds off of the ceiling toward where you are sitting from the atmos speakers on top of the front main speakers.

Answer:	The pillow flattens once you sit on it. It's meant more of a cushion than a support pillow. To answer your question the cushion will flatten as soon as you use it but it will lose it's shape over time. I'd recommend more padding for this pillow.

Answer:	Mine is red and black it came with a pillow, I would look at the description to make sure though.

Answer:	In the photo you are looking at, the lines you see is the support of the chair. The pillow is the massager, which you can move from middle back to lower back. It is a USB cable. The chair swivels. You cannot rock back and forth. But you can adjust the chair in several positions. I also love the leg rest you pull out. This is my second Killabee chair. I had my first one for 4 years which was not nearly as nice as this one. I like this brand for the durability, comfort and price.

Question:	With 8 ohm loads, both channels driven, from 20-20,000 Hz; rated 80 watts per channel minimum will be enough for these floorstanding speaker
Answer:	Yes, you will need to install the casters. They are very easy to install and the tools are provided with the chair. It might not work using it without the casters, because on the bottom bar where you install the casters there is a little extension that comes out to accept the casters. Could be kind of hard on any kind of floor covering. I do love the chair by the way.
Question:	How does this sound with the RP-500C
Answer:	It works with a little more effort than a regular chair. Need to step over the middle bar in a sideways manner. Its not a huge step over about 8 to 10 inches. Then its the same and you can scoop the skirt under as we girls do. I wear only pants and I sit by coming over the back. Tried it with a skirt and it just requires that side step over middle bar.
Question:	If I had to manually set the crossover frequency on my receiver, which would be ideal
Answer:	Yes - I am 6'2" 175 and it fits just fine. It has a few adjustabilities so you might have to play with it a bit. I have been using it for about a month - all day at work and it has helped me sit straight.
Question:	Does " set of 1 " mean a pair or each
Answer:	I have a logitech performance MX at full weight and the biggest problem I have is the mouse slides off of the pad because it does not stay level. I'm not sure of the weight for the hotas but it's not like the thing is made from wood or metal - it's sturdy but not built for any kind of serious weight.

Answer:	Thanks for your question. Either the RP-5000F or RP-6000F would pair very well with the RP-500C center channel. The front main speakers are the most important in your system. The 6000 will have better bass and midbass and will be well worth the additional cost. It will also blend better with a Klipsch subwoofer when you decide to upgrade again.
