Answer: I don't see how. I ran mine through a receiver that was hooked up to my TV with RCA cables. The receiver had the speaker jacks. Sounded good until one blew...They don't last long.

Answer: I bought mine in March of 2019 and it still looks like the day I bought it. Seriously! The design hasn't worn down at all, and none of the mat has worn down. I get quite a bit of in and out traffic, so it's used a lot. And I live in a very rural setting so shoes come in with gravel dust, dirt, mud in the rainy season, and it has held up wonderfully. Not to mention the fact that I've also got four large dogs going in and out day and night. I couldn't be happier with this mat, and I'm sure you will love it! :)

Question: What other front speakers do you guys have paired up with this center? I have the F12 and I want to get something that pairs up well with this. thx
Answer: I've had a number of center channel speakers paired with a number of front speakers and subwoofers, and it comes down to the size of the room and what you're listening to or watching. In a smaller room I've paired small Denon 3-way speakers and a Yamaha subwoofer, and it sounds great. In a larger room I've used a larger JBL center channel and JBL front speakers with sufficiently large woofers that I don't need a subwoofer. In the large room I want a center channel with a broader frequency response (3-way center), and the BIC simply can't give me that.Stated differently, the BIC DV-32CLR works great in some environments, and not as great in others. If you're in a smaller room, the BIC will work great, regardless of the front speakers you're pairing it with. Good luck!

Answer: Just get a reasonably priced receiver (I have a Sony 7.2 STR-DN1020) Loads of power for everything you will ever add to your AV system. No need for additional power amplifiers. The receiver also has an auto calibrator. Super cool. It sets all of the settings for each speaker automatically. Use the provided mic, hit the button, and make the ambient sound is as quiet as you can get it. No fans, don't hold it in your hand, close the windows, and place the speaker at ear level and the distance you will be sitting. It's magical if you pay attention to the details. Enjoy!

Answer: You can yes depending on what your definition of good sound is, obviously buy your question I'd I would say bass is your primary concern correct? Make sure the ohm of the speakers you purchase match your receiver/amp, if you put 4 ohm speakers on a 8 ohm amp you could fry the amp. PA speakers by their design are for sustained increased volume levels which does not always equate to higher quality sound.

Answer: I don't have any experience with using the BIC DV-62CLR's as main front speakers...my installation has one as a center channel in a 5.1 surround system. However, the DV-62CLR would probably serve as front speakers very well, with the dual 6.5" giving a better bass response than the BIC DV-62si speakers. There are also several reviews on audioreview.com praising the use of the DV-62CLR's as main front speakers.

Answer: The DV-62clrs has 2, 6.5in drivers and a.75 inch silk dome tweeter the DV 52si has a 5.25 inch driver and a .5 in tweeter. If you buy the DV 62clrs I would recommend using the DV62si bookshelf speakers as they have the same drivers and tweeters. If you already have the DV 52si I would recommend using the BIC AMERICA DV-52CLRB 5 1/4" 2-Way Center Channel Speaker as it has the same drivers as the DV 52si that way the speakers would be sonically matched. I originally had the DV 62si as my front left and right channels with the DV 62clrs and it sounded fine. I then bought a pair of DV 64's for the front left and right and now use the DV 62si as the rear left and right surrounds. I hope this helps and if you have more questions ask away I am more than willing to help someone pick a system that they will enjoy as much as I enjoy mine. I also have pictures of my system posted with each speaker I bought on amazon just look for my name Jack on the picture.
