Question:	can I paint it with my wall color
Answer:	This is a good question to ask Polk direct. When you receive this system out of the box, It's already program from the factory to react within it'self. In the instruction that comes with the system it does mention these codes can be change. Be safe and ask the pro's who design the system.

Answer:	I would think so, go to the Polk website and contact them.

Answer:	After struggling and struggling with this same feature (I live in a college town. The college kids were using the unsecured hotspot created by the magnifi to make wifi telephone calls, thus blocking my phone and using up all my router bandwidth ) I found a solution. I unplugged the magnifi, put it in a box, and threw it in the town dump. I then went out and bought a new sound bar that cost 1/2 as much as the Polk that could only be updated when I specifically wanted to update it. I found this to be the perfect solution to a problem the polk WILL NOT fix, WILL NOT assist the customer when asked for help either thru their customer support or their technical support. Now I go around telling anyone who will listen the absolute truth about the lack of support I got from polk. You can do this also.

Answer:	The ironing center is 51" H x 14 1/2" W x 3 3/4" deep.

Answer:	Not within the cabinet. Can can adjust the height by raising or lowering the cabinet itself. I raised mine up by about 4 inches so it would mount above the dryer.

Answer:	The unit itself has an overall width of 14 1/2". The door is the same width, so when the door is open flush against the wall, the total span of space used is 29". However, the door does not have to open flush against the wall for the ironing board to be used. The door just needs to be able to open past the front of the unit, allowing the board to come down flat.

Answer:	20-100 watts RMS
Question:	what is the difference between the 6.5 inch vs the 8 inch versions
Answer:	The tweeters are exactly the same between the two. The 8" model has a larger woofer and therefore will provide better bass reproduction (i.e., deeper low end bass). The reason for the different sizes is sometimes the spacing distances between the ceiling joist and wall studs will dictate which one you can use . If your wall studs or ceiling joist are on 16" centers then get the 8"... if they are on 12" centers you'll have to settle for the 6.5". Hands down... if you have the room get the 8". Just FYI: The 8" version outsells the 6" version 2 to 1.
Question:	How much sound is transferred to the room above? I'm installing in a basement ceiling below a bedroom
Answer:	Depends on the construction of the house. I would Place a bat of fiberglass insulation behind the speaker if there is no insulation in the ceiling. This will reduce the transmission of sound upstairs , and improve the sound of the speaker in the room it's installed.
Question:	Do these speakers have open backs? Do they come with enclosures
Answer:	This is actually a great question. As the others have said, the backs are open, which is typically not an issue when installing into a wall or ceiling. HOWEVER...if you install into a ceiling that has blown insulation above it (the loose cellulose kind, not the rolled fiberglass kind) then you WILL want to come up with your own way of keeping the loose insulation off the backs of the speaker. If you don't (as I didn't the first time I bought these) then over time the quality and volume of the sound will lessen because of the insulation working into and pressing against the cones. I had to replace one set because of this problem.

Question:	Whats the ideal screws to use to hang on a concrete wall
Answer:	I didn’t wall mount my speaker it’s sitting in a home entertainment cabinet. To wall mount in concrete you will need to drill holes in the concrete using a masonry drill bit the recommended size for the concrete wall anchors you will be using, you will put the screws into the anchors. Make sure the head of the screw will fit through the mounting hole on back of speaker. Mounting hardware kits (screws, anchors and drill bits ) are available at your Local hardware store. Of course you will need a drill, screwdriver and hammer (to use in inserting the wall anchor)

Answer:	I think completely compatible. I use it for a center speaker. It is really nice.

Answer:	90% of the voices are coming out of the center channel, you should not notice a difference, but personally, I would stay with Martin Logan's center channel and stick with their quality.
Question:	Every speaker brand strives to be neutral, so why should there be tonal mismatches? Why must I buy a center of the same brand
Answer:	In my experience most speakers have their own tonal quality however that does not mean speakers from different manufacturers or even different models by the same manufacturer will not sound good together. I use my Polk S35 center channel speaker with four Bose 301 series speakers and a Polk PSW505 subwoofer to make up my home theater system. They sound great together and much better than it did with my original Bose center channel.

Answer:	Hello, The device you choose to provide power to the speakers would have the Sonos compatibility.

Answer:	Definitely. Depending on your amp's capabilities, you can place and configure as height front (on the ceiling, between your TV and your listening position), height Middle (right above your listening area, my current choice) and height back (between your listening area and your rear speakers). I'm on an Onkyo TX SR646, with a 5.1.2 configuration and everything has been totally customizable. I can't see why other amps wouldn't allow for the same. Having said that, the Atmos experience has been amazing. I highly recommend it.EDIT: You mean front "height", right? As in "on the ceiling". If you meant front, at ear level, then don't. Get some bookshelf or floorstanding speakers instead, even if your intention is to hide them behind a false wall, as these speakers' coils are diagonal / directional. These speakers are meant to be placed on a ceiling, in downfiring position, aimed towards the listening area.
Question:	how should I point the speakers? if I point the woofer then twiter faces the oposite way, or should I point Twiter to the desired location
Answer:	Hello, Listeners tend to prefer either a concentrated surround sound presentation or a diffuse non-directional quality to the way surround channel information is heard. If you enjoy hearing lots of sound coming from the rear channels almost as much as the sounds coming from the front speakers then install the speakers so the tweeters are aiming directly at the audience location. On the other hand if you prefer a more "atmospheric" quality to the rear channel information where the sounds are supporting the front channel information then place the tweeters so they are reflected by the ceiling or adjacent walls. Think of how different lighting fixtures work; wall sconces create soft ambient light and spot lights are the opposite, meant to concentrate the light and highlight what they're aimed at.

Question:	Are they small enough for wall mounting
Answer:	They are. There's a plastic bracket on the back with a keyhole slot for hanging the speaker directly from the wall, or you can use a wall mount that screws into the 1/4"-20 threaded insert below that. (I used a Jumbl SINSB7B mount; the similar-looking Omnimount 10 ought to work as well.) Note that you can technically remove the mounting bracket, and you may think you need to in order to get the mount screwed in, but you probably don't -- there's more clearance than it looks like. And the manufacturer (at least according to another question here) says you shouldn't: “The wall mount structure is part of the speaker's design, it improves the quality of the bass performance and needs to remain.”

Question:	How do these compare to the polk tl2 and tl
Answer:	I cannot compare to the tl2 or tl3 since I've never owned them. The Signature S10 replaced some Energy Take 5's that I was using for the fronts in a 5.1 system. They have much better bass extension than the Energy speakers and image exceptionally well.

Answer:	These speakers are as far as I know only sold in pairs. Mine certainly came as a pair. I find them very good for use on my office desk.
