Answer:	I have them as desktop speakers because I also watch movies with them. They are big though. I swtiched from Klipsch R41m and these are much larger. To say they are too powerful for desktop though?? Yeah right lol. I have a tube amp pushing about 12 watts to each (if you don't know tube amps then it may sound like nothing but i can't even turn the amp up halfway). I also have a powered sub (energy ESW 8inch approx 240 watts) which balances out things well. The S10 is probably better for my needs since they have the same tweeter but I got a deal on these.
Question:	Would the Polk S15's make good front mains in home theater setup mainly for movies
Answer:	S15s would be great for most rooms as front speakers. They are fairly large and have great tweeters. I would only recommend that you go with a larger driver (or set of drivers) if you room was larger than say 20x20 and you were not using an active sub woofer. I'm currently using a combination of S15s and S10s as surround speakers (S60 for front L and R....S35 for center).

Answer:	I have a almost identical size room. I replaced my older Optimus wall speakers and center speaker with 4 of these Polk Blackstone TL1 speakers, a TL1 Polk center speaker and used my existing Polk PSW-10 subwoofer, and the sound improvement was PHENOMAL!!! I am not sure that you would need 2 subwoofers. I highly recommend these speakers. They are small but very powerful

Answer:	Yes. They do.
Question:	What's the differs btween these and the tl2s
Answer:	We'll, some differences are that the tl1's are smaller, in dimension, and use smaller drivers, and possibly offer a different materials make-up in regards to the mid-range drivers. The tl1 tweeter(high frequency driver) is 1/4in smaller, 1/2in compared with the 3/4in tweeter of the tl2 speaker. The mid-range driver of the tl1 is in the 2 1/2in size class, and is listed as aerated polypropylene, and I believe it is a product of their laser imaging research, like their LSI, a past reference series, and the tl3. These aerated polypropylene drivers are positioned below the super cell aerated polypropylene drivers in their current "reference" LSIM series offerings. The tl2's woofer(mid-range driver) offering is a 3 1/4in in size class, and the material composition however is listed only as an injection moulded composite, and I suspect and might be the "lower-end" regular polypropylene of older technology, or the newer "higher-end" aerated polypropylene(like tl1 & tl3). I doubt it would use super cell, and still be positioned below the tl3.. My bets on regular polypropylene, this could support a pricing mode difference in the tl line-up, between the tl2 and tl3 offerings.. I think the tl2 speaker supports a larger frequency range than the tl1 speakers, as well, this doesn't denote "higher-fidelity" however, within all frequencies. I would likely think with the tl1, you might crossover your sub-woofer higher, because I'm guessing the tl1 system would be more sub-woofer dependant, for lower frequencies. This tl1 product might place higher demands on a "sub-woofer" solution. The tl1's likely also make higher demands of an amp, in order to produce the lower frequency range, as larger drives, afaik, in comparison, are typically more efficient for reaching lower frequencies, and the tl2 offers larger drivers. This might affect performance, especially at higher volumes. Conversely, the higher frequency driver damping might be easier with the tl1's, and perhaps they might be more effective there. IMO, I've read subjective accounts of the tl1's sounding "better than" or "the same" as tl2's, and vice versa.

Question:	Are they small enough for wall mounting
Answer:	They are. There's a plastic bracket on the back with a keyhole slot for hanging the speaker directly from the wall, or you can use a wall mount that screws into the 1/4"-20 threaded insert below that. (I used a Jumbl SINSB7B mount; the similar-looking Omnimount 10 ought to work as well.) Note that you can technically remove the mounting bracket, and you may think you need to in order to get the mount screwed in, but you probably don't -- there's more clearance than it looks like. And the manufacturer (at least according to another question here) says you shouldn't: “The wall mount structure is part of the speaker's design, it improves the quality of the bass performance and needs to remain.”

Answer:	The speakers come as a pair.
Question:	How do these compare to the polk tl2 and tl
Answer:	I cannot compare to the tl2 or tl3 since I've never owned them. The Signature S10 replaced some Energy Take 5's that I was using for the fronts in a 5.1 system. They have much better bass extension than the Energy speakers and image exceptionally well.

Answer:	These speakers are as far as I know only sold in pairs. Mine certainly came as a pair. I find them very good for use on my office desk.

Answer:	The ironing center is 51" H x 14 1/2" W x 3 3/4" deep.

Answer:	Not within the cabinet. Can can adjust the height by raising or lowering the cabinet itself. I raised mine up by about 4 inches so it would mount above the dryer.

Question:	Why are there two sets of wire inputs on the back of the speaker
Answer:	See this well written article on it, I am actually going to buy the wires myself after reading up on it despite the much higher price tag, but they are a good price on amazon, other have written they are $100 at Best Buy but $30 on Amazon -- http://www.chord.co.uk/help-and-information/speaker-cable-guide/bi-wire-or-single-wire/
Question:	does anyone know why it has 2 sets of wire inlets on each speaker? Normally it's one set black and red
Answer:	The 2 sets of speaker 5 way binding posts are for bi-wires or bi amps if you remove the bridges so you can by-pass the speaker cross-over. It's a waste of time and money since you will need an external cross-over. I wouldn't bother with it at this price point. They are as good as you can get for the price.
Question:	Why do these have a set of two connections at the back? Is it for two audio sources
Answer:	Oh my gosh please disregard any of the stupid people who said its benefits are debatable, or that it helps midrange. Those people shouldn’t answer questions about things they obviously know nothing about. I’m reporting those answers as not only wrong but intentionally ignorant. The truth is most people have their front 2 mains wired to the receiver. Today’s receivers are 7.1 and more 9.2.4 or 11.2.whatever. However most users choose not to wire speakers to the extra surround and Atmos channels. 5.1 being fine. So in addition to wiring the entire speaker to just the front Left and Right, you can remove the metal connecting both sets of posts. Leave the original speakers wires. Now go into your receivers set up menu and go to speaker set up. Most receivers have a selector for if you’re using the front-above speaker option. If not, now you can run a 2nd speaker wire to both speaker and connect to the 2 unused posts. The immediate benefit is that instead of only 2 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing the whole Left and Right, you now have 4 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing your speakers. Each speaker gets 200w.
Question:	Is there a "practical"reason for these speakers to have so many individual speakers inside them
Answer:	Yes. Oversimplifying but hopefully still useful: There's an ugly trade-off between bass quantity and quality. Larger drivers have more surface area (volume really, as a speaker is effectively an irregularly-shaped piston for pushing and pulling air). More surface area means more bass. But it also means more inertia and typically sloppy or booming (mid-)bass lacking in detail or transient response ("edges"). Smaller drivers respond faster and create tighter, punchier, more accurate (mid-)bass because it can respond faster, but less low bass due to the reduced surface area. Using multiple smaller drivers is an attempt to retain the tight and accurate mid-bass but also team the drivers up to move enough air to extend the bass down low. It's an attempt to keep the best attributes of both approaches. However, real bass-heads might still want a little more low bass. Fortunately, really low bass (say 20-60 Hz) isn't particularly critical and you can get away with a massive woofer like 12" or even 15". For this, a subwoofer is perfect. If you add a subwoofer to a speaker like this, be sure to cross it over well below 100 Hz, as you paid for bass accuracy and you wouldn't want to degrade it by too much overlap. Think of the subwoofer as turning your 3 way speakers into 4 way speakers. You don't want much overlap. As with any free audio advice, take nobody's word for anything and experiment for yourself. Every room and every ear is different, so I might be all wet. That said, there' s the rationale, in a nutshell.

Answer:	Hello, The speakers require something (usually a receiver) to provide power, this device would then control the speaker's volume.
Question:	Are these compatible with Alexa/Echo Dot
Answer:	These are not Bluetooth speakers so they will not work directly with Echos or Dots and need to be powered by an audio receiver. You can however, use an RCA or Bluetooth connection between an Echo or Dot and the reciever and stream to the speakers.
Question:	We do not have a covered deck. Could these outdoor speakers be totally exposed to the outdoor element
Answer:	I have installed these speakers totally exposed and they have lasted several years the grills might become rusty looking depending on the area you're in

Answer:	Yep, it's a plain old fashioned record player.

Answer:	The arm is manual! :) but the record player is awesome!
Question:	Perhaps these are the pot of gold at the end of my rainbow! But will my Onkyo receiver/amplifier, rated 50 watts per channel, suffice to drive them
Answer:	you can plug in speakers with the rca output on the back of the stereo however, I bought this as a Christmas gift with the idea they can buy extra speakers for better quality but the output of the stereo is still average. They went and bought another one, haha. This stereo is nice for just simple, fun record playing but if you want something with good quality, spend $100 or more for a better quality stereo. This one is more of a starter turntable. Give it to your little kids to play 45's :)
