Question:	Even though there is no subwoofer output, can one be connected anyway

Question:	What is the Bluetooth range
Answer:	There are 3 classes of BT devices. The ranges are under 10m (Class3); 10m (Class2) and 100m (Class3). The range you get between two devices will be the range of the least powerful device. If that's a cell phone streaming music, expect less than ten meters. If it is a computer with a Class2 BT radio, expect a solid ten meters. But the only way you will get more than ten meters (30 feet) reliably, is if both devices are Class 3. And portable devices rarely are.
Question:	can i hook up my turmtable as well
Answer:	I have a question more than answer. My turntable is the rather cheap, ION LP mp3 converter, it has a built in preamp, has a pair of red white RCA output. BUT, WHEN I PLUG IT INTO THE #3 RCA PORT, AS INDICATED ON THE PRODUCT PAGE FOR TURNTABLE, the speakers have no sound. Now, my "speaker" is a Yamaha HS5 monitor, it's hooked to the OUT RCA port via a 1/4" jack at the back of the monitor. I suppose I'll have to use proper hi-fi speakers connected via the loose wire ports?
Question:	So can this fit a total of 4 100watt speakers at once OR 4 25watt speakers at most
Answer:	100 "X" multiplied by 4 = 400 watts max, and multiple speakers can be connected to single channels if you have a full understanding of OHM's and how the wattage changes with different connections, but a single speaker on each channel that matches up closely at least in OHM's and watts will sound best, but multiple 25watt speakers would be fine on a 100watt channel, and with 4-100watt channels that can be repeated if desired, but if that's done with high power low ohm speakers, they will over draw power and burn up the reciever/amplifier and all this information is found via browser search, or just go basic and match printed numbers and sound great and dont worry about it burning up because of something you did.

Answer:	Hello, off course, you can use it with out a phone. It’s really good

Answer:	The unit has auto-dim and adjusts when dark, then back to normal when light. Note: I mention in a prior post that Yamaha does not support/update their Apple app. You may have issues using the app to control settings such as daily alarms as the app will not recognize bluetooth connection to the clock.
Question:	does the unit have a sleep timmer, to turn the radio off after a pre selected time
Answer:	It has a sleep timer than can turn the radio off after 30, 45, or 60 minutes. It is invoked by a simple touch of the snooze button and it even disconnects your Bluetooth when it shuts off. For me this pauses my phone's playback so I don't waste bandwidth or lose my place in my audio book.
Question:	How loud are the buttons? If you had to set them with someone sleeping next to you
Answer:	Not sure what you mean by "loud", but I always set the alarm through my iPhone app. The Bluetooth needs to be activated through its dedicated button for this to work.

Answer:	It's a tuner, not a radio, just to get terminology correct. Why does it cost $250? Because it is not an expensive tuner, is really part of the answer. They could perhaps sell it for less if the market for separate tuners were larger, as it was 40, 30, even 20 years ago. But the market is fading, due to the vastly increased choices for music on the internet. Streaming music of any genre these days, without commercials, is replacing home FM. Most FM users are in their cars these days. So manufacturers can only sell so many separate home tuners, but design and tooling up costs the same whether you build 100,000 units or a million. If you sell fewer widgets, you must charge more per widget. Really, how they sell it as inexpensively as they do is a more logical question. It differs from your receiver in that it has its own power supply and chassis, which give it a chance to sound better, with lower noise. Good tuners cost more than this even in the 70s. Technology helps keep costs down, as well as offshore production. Magnum Dynalab sells some pretty nice tuners these days - google them and check out their pricing.

Answer:	don’t use the headphone jack for your wireless speakers. Connecting anything to headphones Jack or aux Jack usually will remove sound from going to your hooked up speakers. If the speakers are wireless, are they Bluetooth or WiFi? See if you can use that feature on the Denon receiver to pair the wireless speakers.

Question:	How well does the android app work with this amp? i looked at reviews (april 2020) on the play store and was not encouraged
Answer:	Samsung S10e running Android 10. Do not have any issues with the app. I only use the Bluetooth and optical sources and occasionally tweak the equalization. Has worked flawlessly for these functions. The volume control is very granular which I love. I have not streamed through any of the embedded apps however. Third party streaming apps and Bluetooth meet this need well enough for me. It is a solid class D amp. I drive two Elac UB5 speakers and a powered sub. The sound quality is superb and I like the basic internal EQ in the app for those times when I feel like adjusting the tone a bit.
Question:	Can this play audio out of the RCA outs and the MusicCast without blasting the backyard with the speak wire outs? Also will all 3 work if needed

Answer:	Thanks for your question. The five speakers must be hard wired to the appropriate connections on the rear of the receiver. The unit supports Bluetooth streaming - both streaming out and streaming in. It may be possible to use wireless Bluetooth speakers in another room (within range) but can not stream surround sound. Answer:	No it doesn't. It feels SO good compared to the foam mattress topper that we used for years. You don't sink into it, either.

Answer:	Probably. Not as soft as I would like, being used to a waterbed, but better than the $800 mattress that we put it on. It's probably better than a regular memory foam topper that tends to get hot like the one we put on the RV bed. Price per purchase? I would probably do it again.

Question:	What has the best sound & highest output in watts - the yas-109 or the bose solo
Answer:	BOSE doesn't rate watts output, even in our house sound system; Yes, I'm a big BOSE fan. Watts out doesn't control the quality of sound but does produce volume...but what's volume if the music is distorted! I opted for the YAS over the BOSE Solo 5 because of the ALEXA voice control and not sorry for my choice. This unit works great via Bluetooth and Wifi with great true sound quality.
