Answer:	You can attach an audio recording device with a 3.5mm AUX cable and record the sounds instead of listening to them with the headphones. But you can not use a SD card on this device.

Answer:	I reviewed this device, and in it, I detailed that the manufacturer gave erroneous information about the distance it would pick up on voice. I could intelligibly hear a voice from about 50-60 feet, not 300. You decide. I would not use it. It was a waste of my money. I should have returned it but didn't. And NO, it will not hear through doors or walls; the device relies on sound waves through the air using the parabolic dish.
