The sound is diminished onto the one earpiece troubleshooting tips : Most likely it is due to earwax inside the nozzle or sleeve. The nozzle is the passage way for the audio signal. The nozzle opening is very tiny. The smallest amount of wax or moisture can cause a drastic drop in sound level . First, replace the sleeves with new sleeves to see if that restores the full level .Then, please clean the nozzle to ensure it is not clogged. Over 90% of the earphones returned to Shure for service are not defective, but clogged. Some times, the wax is not visible to the eye, as it is either too small of an amount or is further up inside the earphone where it can not be seen. Even the smallest, non-visible amount can dramatically affect the output level . If you have the discontinued E4 or SCL4 model, replace the nozzle with a spare one supplied in the package. Simply unscrew the silver ring to replace the nozzle.If moisture gets in the nozzle due to cleaning or intense exercise, the earphone may cut out until it dries. Let the earphones sit overnight and then see if the sound level is restored . Shure has introduced new foam sleeves that include a wax filter. Thus, when earwax gets caught in the wax filter, simply changing the sleeves will often bring back the proper sound of the earphones

Answer:	Hello, thank you for reaching out. The clamp can open up to about 2.5 inches, we recommend clamping on surfaces no larger than 2.25 inches for a comfortable mount. Have a nice day.
Question:	What are the max db on these
Answer:	The regular stand that comes with the Oculus sensor can actually be split up. There is a threaded break about 1.5 inches below the actual sensor head. That's how I attached mine. It works great clamped to a cabinet behind my gaming position.
Question:	What's the warranty on this item
Answer:	I have mine clamped on a 1 inch diameter curtain rod and there is still more room for the clamp to open. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The cable should be effective enough to provide ample distance between you and your computer tower, given you are close enough to not have to move away on a rolling chair (which could snatch it straight from the tower) the cord is about 3-4 ft (give or take) and pretty durable as its braided nylon and not the other type of rubber or plastic material. It has (as stated in its discription on the box) a in-line mic, 45 degree 3.5 mm jack and it's tangle free, cool colors... You should be good to go... With great sound, noise cancelling functionality, compact, light wieght, and not bad for the price.
