Answer: Limited warranty 90 days from purchase date. I have been using this for over a year and it works just fine.

Answer: It does not use battery as it is not true noise cancelling. I call it noise isolation as it fits in the ears very nicely,i.e. your ears are plugged. Your ears begin to feel uncomfortable after a few minutes. Only good thing about this sets is it really gives a heavy bass, good for listening to Def Lappart type music, hope this helps.
