The PS5's 3D audio will work with the XM4s. I have had the XM3 model for 2 years and I absolutely love them. They work great with my PS4. Answer: I'm pretty sure the iphone 8 doesnt have a headphone jack (unless I'm stupid and it does), so you'd need an adapter that connects to the usb to use these. These should work on any device that have a 3.5 mm headphone jack
