Answer:	no, they are some type of silicone rubber I think, they seem to hold up pretty well with my 8 year old, and don't sound bad (I have used them). Question:	How long will be the battery lasting
Answer:	I'll qualify my answer by saying I don't listen to a lot of electronic music and my metal is as hard and fast as Metallica. That said, having used these for a relatively short period of time, they offered a great sound at all levels of sound without distortion or buzzing that I've had issues with using other ear buds. I hope that answers at least half the question for you.

Complaint: These earphones have no BASS! I should have bought anything else.

Answer: 1.A proper seal is important to get good based from IEMs. Somebody were able to get a good seal with the rubber tips. If want to get more better isolation and bass response, you can try the foam tips on earbuds. (5mm Comply foam tips). 2.If you want more better sound, you can always tweak that on your soundboard EQ.

Complain: These headphones won't stay in my ears.

Answer: Part of the cord is the "hold shape" type cord for a reason. if you have it "hanging" down from your ears you are wearing the earphones incorrectly. You probably need to swap the L and R cables... now get the cable so it exits the earphone "upwards" towards the top front of your ears. the "hold shape" cord will then wrap around the top of your ears. This is a very "stable" shape. and will hold even during rigorous activities.

Complain: Detaches from earbud.

Answer: You probably can try to swap the L and R cables.

Complain: No sound on one side of ear buds.

Answer: Please use other earphones cable or swap the L and R cables to check if the cable have issue.
