Answer:	The Garmin keeps track of everything a Fitbit does, steps ,heart rate, calories, etc. That said, if youre doing something "special", like a long run, by pushing 1 button (top rt.) and touching the watch screen once, it will connect with gps and after you're run, will show you a map of youre route with that run's stats. You can do this for all types of activities, not just running or walking. It even has a treadmill, or cycling setting. I love this watch, i think you will too. Its VERY easy to learn, most activities are done with 1 or 2 touches!

I have an eTrex 30 and it is the best GPS I've ever owned. I have the mini United States, Canada, Mexico, and Caribbean maps card installed. It shows even the private driveways out in the country side. The vehicle mounts that work on the 20 & 30 won't work on the 10. The type that slides on the back of the unit.

Answer:	I don't know about the band size, but the diameter of the cases on most all Expeditions is 40mm....That's too large. It looks like an alarm clock on your arm...I returned the one I bought. Having said that, I would like to have one with a case diameter not exceeding 35mm.

Answer:	I think the band is OK for occasional moisture such as rain, would not wear it the shower or say canoing or kayaking. It has a synthetic suede like backing that absorbs water and takes awhile to dry, especially while worn. I would be OK immersing the watch in water such as swimming ( not diving) but would swap out the exisitng band for a nylon one for those activities. Band looks nice though and is comfortable ( so long as it is not wet)

Question:	Is this watch sized for a man or is it unisex
Answer:	The outside bezel of the watch measures 48mm, and it stands approx 13mm off your wrist (thickness). The watch ships with 2 straps, one stainless steel and one silicone in a cool colour. The stainless strap is perfect for everyday and dress wear, and the silicone strap for sports/gym. I would say it is a unisex watch, BUT as cool as it looks, if you're a small lady it will look HUGE on your arm. I've seen a few ladies wear similar Garmin watches like the Fenix 5x, and it looks OK. Warning, this watch gives others MAJOR watch envy. I upgraded from the Fenix 5x and I am absolutely impressed!! BTW, I have slim wrists for a guy.

Answer:	Yes. It's a great boating watch, especially if you do sailboat racing.
Question:	Does this have the anchor alarm function
Answer:	Yes it does. It works nicely. But the trick is to decide on the radius of alarm - which you can set on the watch. Problem is that if you set it up to let's say 100 feet, you may be turning around the anchor with the wind shift, or actually drift 100 feet. But that's is always the issue with anchor alarm.

Answer:	I am looking at these two watches as well. I just went to my local running store today to talk to them about the 235 vs the 35 and they basically told me that they are the same watch except for thesefew differences.... the 235 has a color screen, longer battery life, and a few more running options like race pace estimating, V02 Max estimator, etc. If you go to the Garmin site and do the compare feature you can get a pretty good look at the differences. I also downloaded the manuals for both. I'm going to go with the 35. The extra features the 235 has are super nice but I don't think they are personally necessary for me. I run 5K's, half-marathons, and full-marathons and the 35 looks like it will be sufficient for me. Also, i'm a 34 year old female and the 234 looked HUGE on my wrist!

To add to the great answer you already got, you could use the included clip to clip it to your hat, but you might find it a bit heavy if it's on your brim, for example. We recommend using a computer or laptop USB port to charge the device (using the included cable), since the power output is better regulated (5 volts). Phone chargers such as an iPhone charger can also be used but be sure to use a high quality charger that only provides 5v — some inexpensive 'fast charger' models, especially car chargers, can sometimes exceed 5v and damage your H-300. Lastly, always unplug the charging cable at both ends after use. Addicidental contact with conductive surfaces may damage the cable or charging port. Answer:	I have a separate shaft hanging off the side of my boat for livescope and I have the livescope transducer shaft mounted on it. I already have 2d, downvu, etc..., transducer on my ulterra for my 93SV and the ulterra only accommodates one transducer. Also would be a pain to have livescope transducer on trolling motor if you use spotlock. Spotlock won’t keep trolling motor pointed in one direction; it moves erratically trying to keep the motor in one gps position.
Question:	I have a echomap chirp 74sv. Is livescope compatible
Answer:	The Chirp Echomaps are NOT compatible with Panoptix Livescope, you must have a Plus unit. Mike, Garmin

Answer:	Yes, depends on what type of charger you get. If you get the AMPS charging cradle, you can hard wire it directly to 12v power source Or put in a 12v cig lighter and use a cig charging cable. I use the AMPS charging cradle with the RAM mount ball. I put a cig lighter onto the end of the wires. I can now swap between my 3 snowmobiles, 2 quads, and boat by using the same mount and cig lighter.
Question:	I'ved used a garmin montana 600 for years. are the controls and commands on this one the same? i'm looking to upgrade
Answer:	this is the first Garmin I have owned easy to use, scene freeze up sometime and is touchy, other wise I like it
