Answer:	Sorry, I was in Costa Rica. Answer: Sorta. It has a compass on one screen. On another screen, it has an arrow pointing to the selected way point, so if you create a point then walk in a direction 180 degrees the other way, it'll point back to the desired direction and you can determine the degree. Or, you can walk in the desired direction and hve thee gps point where you started and figure from there (not as hard as I'm making it), but it will not give you an exact degree to aim for. I love the unt for its simplicity, but its simplicity is also its weakness.It's all I've ever needed, in Paris or the African bush. Looking at the other answer, I may have overlooked a feature

Question:	How do the batteries hold up in cold weather
Answer:	Battery life sucks! Tried this for for 5 months. Tried several different types/brands of batteries. Camera was set to record 15 second video. Batteries only last about 3 days of camera used only at night with limited captures. First and second day had full video. Third day, all video only recorded at less than 5 second length each. Apparently as soon as battery voltage drops only slightly, camera cuts back video dramatically. Replaced batteries after 3rd day, camera functions correctly. All batteries removed and tested and only showed a slight drop from new batteries (used batteries worked fine in flashlight).

Answer:	This camera does not have field viewing capability. The LCD Screen is for programming only. Regarding IR, this camera is one of the better ones for night photos.

Question:	How do you focus with these? Don't seem to have the conventional focusing knob
Answer:	They have an instafocus lever that allows you to very quickly focus
Question:	Are these fog proof
Answer:	Never had them fog internal. Exterior lens fogs occasionally.
Question:	Does it come wirh a carry case
Answer:	mine did come with a carrying case and strap for the binoculars. Velcro closure on the carrying case.
Question:	Can you adjust the focus
Answer:	Yes, the black thing in the center of the binoculars is to adjust and focus. I used the in the mountains in Colorado to hunt elk. Loved them.

Question:	How long before it goes off or hibernates
Answer:	Yes, you can save waypoints for a long period of time. Overall I would not have purchased this GPS as it is not user friendly in my book. I would recommend this receiver to someone with a better understanding of GPS technology not a person looking for a more visual display of information. There were too many steps (menu's) involved to get to the screen you wanted. Furthermore the screen does not display topography or anything near what you would hope to see as related to what you would encounter with a GPS in an automobile. Visual relation to towns, roads, or points of interest is non-existent. If you purchase this product keep the instruction manual taped to it. This is not a GPS for a novice. Mine presently sits on the shelf getting dusty!
Question:	Can you charge the device through the USB port if you use rechargeable batteries
Answer:	I have used this device on 4 continents, to include Cambodia, Taiwan, and the Philippines. It worked fine in each country and had no issues. Once on the ground, a new synch was needed, but that took only a few minutes. I've used this device for over 20 years without fail. Lithium batteries work great outside the external car adapter. I never used it with a computer.
Question:	Will this unit work in Europe and Asia
Answer:	Yes, it knows coordinates and you can set targets, like in geocaching and what coordinate you are located at. The thing missing on all older non-mapping GPS units is just that there is no map of terrain, roads, paths etc.
Question:	Is the computer software and wiring included with this offer
Answer:	If you can find it new from an authorized reseller then it does have a warranty on it. On the other hand this is a very old unit with no mapping and is probably used. A used item does not have a warranty.I would add if you want something to simply give you coordinates for your map or to be able to backtrack along your own path if you get lost this is great.
