I know I use many devices to play through the audio input. If I'm using the USB, it'll read thumb drives etc, and allow me to select what to hear from there. It has to be MP3, and there are some formatting constraints for the thumb drive.

Some additional points: Initial review was based on early usage but repeated use confirms battery run down in a single round is anywhere from 50% to 75% even without bluetooth running. And that's in the Washington, DC area, not in the middle of nowhere (if that makes a difference). The GPS signal takes a long time to acquire - sometime 5 minutes or more. If I had bought this device at full price, I'd be really pissed but my pro shop sells at a deep discount and this is the only one they carry.

Answer:	I just bought one and it does not track far at all. I have mine on my puppy's collar. With full battery at about 5 feet it says she is close. At 8-10 it says she is far away. At 15 to 20 feet it loses signal completely. When I turn on the phone alert it goes off when she is 15 to 20 feet away. This is outside on flat ground using a 1 year old iPhone 6S. The battery drained pretty fast. I was disconnecting once we got back inside. I turned it on just to take her outside to use the bathroom as many as 10 times a day. Battery died in 5 days. This might be good for keys or a puppy or cat that likes to hide under furniture in the house but outside it will not help locate my puppy very far at all. I am going to try some different ones for range.
Question:	How do I get the messages and phone calls to show up on watch ? I’m connected to Bluetooth and it’s not working
Answer:	The HRM doesn't count calories, it's just a sensor. I use the Polar Beat app which has a "Strength Training" option. Once you 'complete' your activity, it will show calories burned. The calories burned appears to sync over to Google Fit as well, if you're using Android. Endomondo also has an option for Strength Training, but I don't use it (presumably it counts/tracks calories as well).
