Question:	How reliable is the Verizon Connected series when you do not have your phone on you? I have not been able to find any reviews on this specific one
Answer:	I don't know about the band size, but the diameter of the cases on most all Expeditions is 40mm....That's too large. It looks like an alarm clock on your arm...I returned the one I bought. Having said that, I would like to have one with a case diameter not exceeding 35mm.

Answer:	I think the band is OK for occasional moisture such as rain, would not wear it the shower or say canoing or kayaking. It has a synthetic suede like backing that absorbs water and takes awhile to dry, especially while worn. I would be OK immersing the watch in water such as swimming ( not diving) but would swap out the exisitng band for a nylon one for those activities. Band looks nice though and is comfortable ( so long as it is not wet)

Answer:	In December 2020 this listing included models where the the crown is inset into the bezel for protection (40mm) and models where the crown is unprotected (37mm). Answer:	No It is a TACTICAL watch, was made for military use. I have it and have used it in Syria, Iraq and several other countries. It is a really good watch and has a great battery life, playing music would kill the battery.

Question:	Does this watch have a great compass,a good one, or none at all? I bought it for my son for Christmas the compass is an important feature for him
Answer:	Good Compass but not great Hold down on one of the buttons and the watch face becomes a compass. It shows the degrees (0-360) and the general direction (SE for example). You would not use this watch to plot a course on a map. For that, you can buy a compass for less than $20 that lie flat on a map, can be adjusted for a magnetic correction, they have lines, etc.

Answer:	It does not have speaker, so unfortunately no.

Answer:	The Garmin keeps track of everything a Fitbit does, steps ,heart rate, calories, etc. That said, if youre doing something "special", like a long run, by pushing 1 button (top rt.) and touching the watch screen once, it will connect with gps and after you're run, will show you a map of youre route with that run's stats. You can do this for all types of activities, not just running or walking. It even has a treadmill, or cycling setting. I love this watch, i think you will too. Its VERY easy to learn, most activities are done with 1 or 2 touches!

Answer:	Certain watch faces seem to have more trouble staying on than others. Also, the image does not stay permanently on, just the time.

Answer:	No, I don’t think so, probably more like 3.

Answer:	I got the Venu over the Vivoactive 4 simply because of the display. I personally didnt see any notable differences between the two models. if you are looking for detailed differences you should compare the specs between the two. The only thing i can see a difference in is the battery life/display. Based on over a month of usage, on average i get a solid 6-7 days of regular usage.

Answer:	Yes, I wear it as a watch that normally displays time, date and battery life. Then I can toggle thru other displays when I want to see heart rate, steps, weather, calendar, workout, or any of the other features.
Question:	Does the GPS work if it's covered by a jacket or long sleeved shirt
Answer:	I purchased this for my wife so I do not use it however I am a surveyor so I do have vast experience with GPS. GPS signals will not be hindered by thin materials such as cloth. Inside buildings with wood and shingle roofs will throw the location of a bit reducing the accuracy. GPS signals simply do not penetrate metal objects. That being said you should not experience any loss of signal or accuracy using typical clothing items. You may experience some issues if the device was covered with something metallic such as those solar blankets. Perhaps a good experiment to ease your mind is use your cell phone's GPS tucked into your sleeve as the technology is nearly identical in all small consumer products.
Question:	Is it water resistant
Answer:	Yes, it is...I looked at the manual and the water rating is actually 5 ATM (atmospheres), not 5 meters. 5 ATM actually equates to about 50 meters deep, so technically you could swim or shower with this watch just fine. Answer:	I am not familiar with the fitbit however this garmin 235 monitors your heart rate constantly as long as you are wearing it. I wear mine even while I am sleeping. It is neat to see my resting heartbeat. Love it!

Answer:	I am looking at these two watches as well. I just went to my local running store today to talk to them about the 235 vs the 35 and they basically told me that they are the same watch except for thesefew differences.... the 235 has a color screen, longer battery life, and a few more running options like race pace estimating, V02 Max estimator, etc. If you go to the Garmin site and do the compare feature you can get a pretty good look at the differences. I also downloaded the manuals for both. I'm going to go with the 35. The extra features the 235 has are super nice but I don't think they are personally necessary for me. I run 5K's, half-marathons, and full-marathons and the 35 looks like it will be sufficient for me. Also, i'm a 34 year old female and the 234 looked HUGE on my wrist!

Answer:	Not that I am aware of. It’s more of an “approach” device. Calculating your fairways hit, club distances and GIR is its super power. It does not know where the exact pin location is, you have to manually move the virtual flag on the device. It’s definitely shaved strokes off my game.

Answer:	Yes. This watch is great but it is very loud. That would be my only "con". I've had it for about two years. I can hear it when I use a public bathroom. Never bothers me in the drawer or in the stand at night, though.

Answer:	Yes, you can use this as a daily timepiece. The Approach S10 has a battery life up to 14 weeks in watch mode.

Answer:	Tells how far from front, center, and back of green. Also, distance to different layups, to bunkers, to water hazards (front and rear). Counts strokes but I haven't tried that.
