Answer:	The Transmitter requires 2 AAA 1.5 V batteries. The receivers require CR2032 batteries.
Question:	how loud is it
Answer:	Its not super loud but its enough that when you in the right room you hear it. I was able to hear it from inside a book bag from the otherside of the room.
Question:	how often do you change batteries
Answer:	Well, put it this way. One day I couldn't find my keys so I pressed the red button on the main unit. I heard no sound anywhere. I pressed the button on all the rest of the receivers, no sound. All 4 were DEAD after 7 to 8 weeks. These are the little disc / button batteries which are not cheap. I would never buy this item again. That's the problem; when you need it, the battery may be dead. I don't think you should have to change batteries every 7 to 8 weeks. I hope this helps you. NOTE: Maybe I have a bad unit / a lemon. If the JTD or Amazon would want to replace this one, I would be willing to try another one out. If the batteries would last longer, I would revise my comments.

Answer:	That's not correct. It does come with all batteries. 2 AAA, and 8 button batteries! That's 4 spare ones. I'm really happy about that. It's not every day you get a good product with batteries included.
