Activate Smart Tag

Your smart tag is on the sleep mode when you open the giftbox. You just quick press the button, it will ring and be activated. You should connect it with your phone in a minute. Or it will be on the sleep mode again automatically.





Attaching Your Smart Tags to Things

It can be anything that you want to track, like keys, bags, wallets/purses, luggages, bottles, umbrellas, laptops, cameras, TV remotes, etc. Linking your smart tags to the App

1. Tap the + button on the Things tab of the app

2. Wait for the app to discover and connect the smart tag

3. Tap the Save button on upper right corner of the app

4. Optionally you can take a picture of the thing that the smart tag is attached to and name it

5. Be happy because now you can always find your stuff!





Replacing Battery

The pre-inserted CR2032 button cell battery is user replaceable. In case your smart tag runs out of power, please follow the following instructions to replace the battery.

1. Open the case from the corner as shown in the image illustrated

2. Remove old battery and insert new battery with + sign facing up

Answer:	depends what you consider 'accurate enough' it will tell you where your kid is within a 100 foot range more or less, so you will know he is at school but for example you won't know exactly in what classroom because I think GPS technology that it uses just like your phone doesn't allow for that level of accuracy, i guess is what I am trying to say. It does the job for me because I have it set up so it alerts me when he leaves the school area, so it does that well.. but I couldn't set up an alert to tell me when he leaves a certain classroom for example.

Answer:	No, and I tried using the JioBit for this for tracking my kid, but after the plane landed and I even had my child in hand, the Jiobit wouldn't update the location (for hours afterwards, in a metro city in the U.S.). It does not appear to be a product ready for prime time and is maybe still in development as they were still pushing out critical firmware updates when I was using it. I would strongly recommend against using this to track your kids as it's unreliable tech.

Answer:	You can turn the Bluetooth on once your keys are misplaced. If you leave the keys back at restaurant and you are now at home you will not be able to connect and will not be able to see that they are back at the restaurant. If you leave your Bluetooth on then once the Cube disconnects from Bluetooth it will drop a pin on the map to let you know where you left them.

Answer:	Yes. I think it will fit a mans wallet and will withstand the sitting. It’s pretty sturdy but I had only used it on key chains.

Answer:	No. Maybe splashproof at best. Used it on my dog and whenever he would get it wet it would go off continuously. 2 small speaker holes let water it and traps it.

Answer:	These are new to me and Im comparing them to my past experience with Tile. My initial observation is that Tile has a greater range than CUBE and the Tile AP is better and has a greater ability to hone in from long distances. My Tile AP was honing in on a lost item much further away than the CUBE. All of those things being said, I find that the Tile devices not having replaceable batteries incredibly annoying and thus, too expensive to replace on an ongoing basis. So based on that alone, Im going to try to stick with CUBE a bit longer even though I prefer Tile.

●When putting the battery in, please note the side with “CR2032” writing should face out. 

●When the receiver doesn’t respond, please first check whether the red LED on the transmitter flashes after you hit the button, if Yes, please replace the receiver’s battery, otherwise replace the transmitter’s battery.

Answer:	Send it back or make sure the batteries are facing in the right direction. Button batteries have to be put in according to both diagrams.
Question:	Does it have smart alert
Answer:	I don't know what Smart Alert is. I have one Wosports tag on my cane. If I mislay the cane I push the corresponding button on the Tracker and the tag responds. I works fine in my house.

Answer:	You must contact Amazon. You can find their number on line. I would then keep the number in your phone. They are Great with returns.

Answer:	Thanks for your great question! The STI GL300MA GPS Tracker can be hardwired into most vehicles with our hardwire kit, which you can find on Amazon by searching for "B00UNVZVX2". Question:	If this item transmits using 4G data network, what happens when you are out west where there may not be 4G available
Answer:	If the tracker can’t locate 4G service in a particular area, it will try to fall back to 2G if that is available. 4G coverage is extremely widespread in the United States though. Also, keep in mind, that the tracker uses GPS satellites to know its location, not the cell towers. If it can’t communicate with our servers, because of coverage issues, it will keep tracking its location and as soon as it finds itself with service it will send all the queued locations. Question:	Is there a separate monthly fee for each tracking device
Answer:	Yes, the monthly fee is separate for each tracker. You can either pay for the subscription monthly or upfront yearly at a discounted price. You can also avail a discount on the subscription fee if you activate 5 or more trackers.
Question:	do you have to sign a contract for the spy tec mini portable real time gps tracker
Answer:	This question has still not been answered exactly. That is, can the device still be used as a tracker (but not a real time tracker) without signing up for the month to month service. That is, can data be downloaded, etc. form the device without the month to month fee. I dont care about the cell phone alerts or whatnot
