Question:	Is this accurate enough to place in backpack for school aged children
Answer:	depends what you consider 'accurate enough' it will tell you where your kid is within a 100 foot range more or less, so you will know he is at school but for example you won't know exactly in what classroom because I think GPS technology that it uses just like your phone doesn't allow for that level of accuracy, i guess is what I am trying to say. It does the job for me because I have it set up so it alerts me when he leaves the school area, so it does that well.. but I couldn't set up an alert to tell me when he leaves a certain classroom for example.

I would strongly recommend against using this to track your kids as it's unreliable tech.

T-mobile has PUBLICLY stated that they will SHUTDOWN their 2G network on 12/31/2020 and so this product will be USELESS as of January 1, 2021 (assuming T-Mobile stays on track with their 2G shutdown plan) as it REQUIRES 2G service to operate.
