Question:	If this item transmits using 4G data network, what happens when you are out west where there may not be 4G available
Answer:	If the tracker can’t locate 4G service in a particular area, it will try to fall back to 2G if that is available. 4G coverage is extremely widespread in the United States though. Also, keep in mind, that the tracker uses GPS satellites to know its location, not the cell towers. If it can’t communicate with our servers, because of coverage issues, it will keep tracking its location and as soon as it finds itself with service it will send all the queued locations. First the Tracking unit receives a GPS signal from the sky, this signal can go through plastics, fabrics, under a car seat, in the glove compartment, even under a car. Testing your tracker is the best way to find out where it will work best for you.

Question:	How long does the battery last per charge
Answer:	Typically the battery last about 2 months per charge. However, the longevity of the charge depends on the movement of the vehicle. For instance, if the vehicle is moving frequently the battery may discharge more quickly since it has to update our servers and send data more frequently. If the vehicle only moves a few times a week, the battery will last longer because the device enters sleep mode and it updates our service at a lower frequency. Our GPS tracking service does monitor the battery life for you, you can configure the system to automatically send you an e-mail or text message when the charge is below a certain level. You can also monitor the battery charge yourself as you login to the application. The max amount of time the device can last on a single charge is 240 days, this is based on the unit being in sleep/standby mode. After the initial charge it will take between 8-12 hours to charge an empty battery to 100%.

Answer:	Yes! This has an awesome app for iOS devices and the same app for Android devices. Alternatively you can login at tracking.global-view.net and use the desktop experience!

Answer:	Hello, Yes you can. You will just need to remember to cancel before you are billed again. Once you cancel you lose all access to the device, even if you have already pre-paid for a month. So again just make sure you send us an email or cancel yourself on PayPal a day or two before your next scheduled bill date.

Answer:	Hello, The device will blink initially when you turn on the device, it will also blink intermittently. You can cover up the light with black electrical tape if you want to make sure there is no light coming from the device. The sound does not make any noises. Hope that helps!

Question:	Can this device be hardwired to a motorcycle
Answer:	The GL300MA can be hardwired into a motorcycle, however, you may need to make adjustments in how you install the GPS unit. This is because the current M2 Magnetic case is not designed to accommodate the hardwire kit while the case is closed.

Answer:	I live in an area with quite a few dead zones and I haven't had any problems so far. If it were to happen, you will have an accurate timeline up to that point and the device will auto update as soon as they leave the dead zone. This will also give up an up to the minute timeline of where to start looking in case the situation requires that.

Answer:	This is a 2G device and does not support 3G/4G areas at all, get real please. I did not even get a chance to check the battery life because in Greater Chicago area this 2G device does not work at all. Did return it.

Question:	I am very interested in installing one of these on my snowmobiie handlebar. i have a garmin nuvi 265w. its body size is 3" x 5 1/2". will it fit
Answer:	The inside of the holder measures 5 3/4 X 3 3/4 so it should fit. I have a TomTom 5 1/4 X 3 1/2 and it fits. On another note, it may seem to be obvious, but make sure that you have room on the handlebars to fit it in.

Answer:	I am sure it would. It is deep and I had a 2597 and had to keep some of the included padding inside. Notice it states "water resistant" and not "water proof?" It kept my GPS dry during the rain but took days for the moisture to dry out after just 1 ride in rain. The included padding holds moisture so I would toss the padding!! I never used the contraption again, mostly cuz I went from a 1980 cb900c with no windshield to a 98 goldwing and RAM GPS mounting system.
Question:	Overheating issues? I have read sporadically that this might cause the unit to overheat and/or, at least, malfunction if not damage it altogether
Answer:	I have not had any issues here in Florida with overheating of my 5 inch Garmin in this. I do not leave it on the bike parked in the sun either though, I always stow it away or park inside. Riding around, even in the rain.... No over heating.... never gotten wet.... Great Device.
Question:	Will this work with a Garmin nuvi 2595LMT 5" screen
Answer:	Garmin do not have that, but I use it with a cell z1 sony xperia 5'' screen, so if you used as a reference to determine the measures to be used in it.
