Answer:	All the ram mount accesories are interchangable but as another reviewer mentioned, I'd be worried that the suction cup might break free and spill the drink. Although I guess I'd rather spill a drink than drop and break an expensive phone or gps.

Answer:	I am traveling in a car that does not have this mount in it, but it is a longer, two-section arm than most. If you don't want it to extend very far, it can be folded down and the phone swiveled to keep it facing in the desired direction. Conversely, if you have it fully extended (as straight out as possible) it is several inches. Short of actually telescoping, it is extremely versatile, offering quite a bit of reach--all while feeling like you could do pull-ups on the thing!

While I agree it's an outstanding product, and I just got mine via UPS today, I had to open the x-grip as far as it would go and then for a lack of better words, force the phone with the case on into the x-grip, the x-grip did not retract at all so the phone with case keeps it at it's maximum width, this concerns me and I wish I would of gotten the larger version of the x-grip to make it easy to load and take out of the mount. Answer:	Yes it should. The iPhone 5 is listed at 2.31 inches wide and this mount is listed as supporting phones from 2.3 inches wide so it should fit fine. There are two small feet at the bottom of the mount to keep your phone from sliding through as well. It is a very nice phone mount, one of the best I've ever used in a decade. The suction pad holds extremely well and fastens to the front plate of a pro-clip nicely for a great pro installation.

Answer:	Bought this for my daughter January 2017. (Wisconsin). She loves it. However it broke after 18 months. She wants another and I’ll be ordering the newest version for her. She uses it with an iPhone 8 Plus with a case that holds 4-5 credit card-type cards. So it’s bulky, yet I t held the phone securely. So I think it is worth $25. I’m hoping that whatever broke has been improved. But even if it didn’t, if it lasts another 18 months she’ll be happy. She has a 2016 CRV and she placed the pad on the flat surface in front of the secondary screen.

Product features

Step 1: Thoroughly Clean Surface

Using glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth, thoroughly clean the desired area you wish to install the mount.

Step 2: Push Suction Cup Onto Surface

Push the suction cup base onto the surface and push against the glass while holding the twist lock to the OFF position. It is crucial you hold the base firmly and flush against the glass to ensure proper suction.

Step 3: Twist to Lock

While continuing to hold the suction base flush against the glass, use your thumb and index finger to twist the lock to the ON position. Tug on the base a little to make sure it is suctioned to the surface and not loose

Step 4: Attach Socket Arm & Holder

Attach any B size socket arm to the base and your desired device holder to complete your mount installation.
