Answer:	Yes, you need to pair it with a compatible watch. I'm not aware of any way to do it with the app on a device. Talking from experience, I had an Accros and having the sensors pair with your phone with the app is a pain. You need to keep the device in your forward pocket to listen to your shot, drains your battery, makes it hard to have a call(not that you should). So it was a big improvement to switch to the Garmin watch with the CT10 sensors.

I added a GCV-10 to my Garmin network to get side vue. Maybe I should have added one of these. Well, I am planning on Panoptix. BTW, most of my fishing is out of Fort Pierce, FL and I usually go 10 to 20 miles offshore. So DCS and a good EPRIB are a minimal requirement. I own a 2015 model 22ft Sea Fox Center Console, Yamaha 175.

The antenna that the traffic info is received on is built into the power cord. The power cord for each unit had something specific related to how the antenna works or connects to the GPS itself. They would only receive traffic data with power adapters meant specifically for that device or family of devices.

Answer:	No, I don't think it works in place of the original plug for the traffic function. I havent come across a 3rd party plug ... But who knows.

Answer:	Althought I have a nuvi cam I bought this cabe to use it to power a Garmin Dash Cam 20. It works ok with this dash cam. I never tested it with the nuvi cam.

Answer:	Yes it will,,, that said if your unit has the traffic feather the traffic feather will not work as this cable does not have the traffic anntena built in it...

Answer:	I’ve never tried it but depending on the battery’s internal logic I would say there’s a good chance it would work. There may be a protection circuit that might limit the battery’s drain, however. In any case I doubt that it would hurt the battery. Give it a try.
